| PLEASE NOTE THIS RACE IS STARTING AT 1800 CST AMERICAS TIME There is an identical race starting at 2000 Paris time the same day1964 RAND GRAND PRIX
==> Download Track <== Hotlaps: http://tinyurl.com/moq7ers F1 1965We will use the 1.04v4 version of the F1 1965 mod by COMS. => DOWNLOAD MOD <=Car SelectionCar selection is free, except for the fastest driver who are not allowed to book the BRM P261, the Lotus 33 or the Ferrari 1512. Only admins are qualified to say if a driver can book a car from this group, while newcomers will be considered as fast drivers and will be subject to the same restrictions. Take your time and test some cars before booking one.Event ScheduleThe race will be a time aggregate of two 25-lap heats. Starting grid for the second race will be based on the results of the first heat. DNF of the first heat will be allowed to race in the second heat, starting at the back of the grid. Only drivers having completed 70% of the overall winner's distance will be classified, whether they finished the race or not. Sunday December 15thAll times Americas CST (6 hours after normal Euro HSO times) 18:00 – Qualifying 18:50 – Drivers’ briefing 18:55 - Grid formation 19:00 – Heat 1 (25 laps) 19:50 - Drivers' briefing 19:55 - Grid formation 20:00 - Heat 2 (25 laps) Race server password : hso64Training ServerA training server will be online 24/7, pass : hso64. Race Start ProcedureFor this race we are going to introduce a new starting procedure, know as « reconnaissance laps » in rFactor, a much more immersive and closer to reality way of doing things than the usual warm-up session + formation lap procedure we are used to. At the start of the race session you will get the usual 30 seconds countdown which usually is the time you have to click on the “race” button and directly join the starting grid. Here this countdown shows the time left before the pit lane is opened. Once it reaches 00:00, the lights at the exit of the pitlane turn from red to green. From then on, a second 5 minutes countdown begins, which tells you how much time there is left before the pit lane is closed again. So you now have 5 minutes to go from your pits to your starting grid position, by doing a complete lap of the track. At the end of this reconnaissance lap, you can either a) take your place on the starting grid (as usual materialized by a red rectangle) or b) do another reconnaissance lap. However, to do a second (and eventually third) reconnaissance lap, you must go through the pitlane to do so and must not drive through the starting grid where some cars will already be placed for the start. Drivers who would still be in the pitlane at the end of the 5-minutes countdown will not be allowed to join the grid and will start the race from the pit lane after the others drivers have started. At any time during this procedure you can press “esc” and you will find yourself back in the pits. Any damage your car could have sustained in an accident will be repaired, and you have all latitude to modify your car’s setup as in a classic warm-up session. Once this second countdown has reached 00:00 and the pitlane is closed, a third and final 2-minutes countdown starts. A driver having left the pits just before they closed therefore has 2 minutes to join the grid, as when the countdown reaches 00:00 the red lights/green lights of the start will appear. There will be no formation lap. It is of course highly recommended that once you have reached your starting grid position you switch your engine off, and only switch back on some 10 to 20 seconds before the end of the last countdown (and thus of the start of the race). The training server is already configured with the procedure, so feel free to go and try it to see how it all works. Behaviour on trackA few behaviour rules : - as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

Yes, due to almost all others filling up. If we have that problem those cars will be added here also. | |
