| I think the field was pretty well balanced yesterday. Of course the drivers on the super dogs (Lotus, Arrows, Fondmetal, Modena, Coloni, AGS) are not where they should be, but you can't please everybody, and we can't put the fastest drivers on slower car than they are now without preventing them to be anywhere near the front. Anyway those slow cars are there for those who either like them, are here hoping for a better car to be available, or just happy to be there. That worked pretty well in F1 79 so I don't see any reason to change. For the next step, I will post the definitive field in the cars booking topic, and you will have one week to confirm your participation for the championship and select your car number in the team you're in. After this delay, if a driver with a regular seat for the season didn't post, he will be removed and his car made available for a non regular driver, so stay tuned during the Christmas holidays.

| I had so much fun last night, sorry Mike about the hit in the race, looks like my cornering speed was much greater than yours The fun I had last night makes me sad because I'm a reserve and therefore I wont be doing the full season | |

I'll have to keep a keen eye on this as if I found myself frustrated in the Larousse the agony will only get better (or worse depending on how you see it) when driving the AGS. Thanks for the help though Gui. I could have used a few pointers from that list pre-race. Oscar.

| Ah so you don't want the AGS for the season ? Cause that's the car you have now, and if you don't want it, then somebody else will probably take it and you may find yourself with no car at all at the end. There's no "Oh I'll see if i find something better, but if I don't please give me the AGS". Note that you'll be allowed to switch for something a bit faster if possible during the season if you take the AGS now. | |

| The AGS can't be that bad. Tiago put it up on 5th, which considering it's a slower car - is definitely a great achievement. Especially after starting 13th!!!

I think maybe you misunderstood. I will drive the AGS all season if it comes to it but should I be allowed to take a slightly better car then I would pounce on the opportunity to do so. And Jon. The AGS is THAT BAD. Tiago just did a stunning job and stayed consistent whilst everyone else fell to bits around him.

| Well, he did what he did and the results showed it worked out. I think a 30mph speed difference on straights is quite alot, almost an unfair amount - but Tiago showed that playing strategy and the strengths of the car, aswell as the winning ingredient of consistency, CAN bring results. And it did! We can all say 'if' and 'should have/would have/could have', but results are results! Tiago not only managed to put the car in a good position, but he also stayed on the lead lap. It's nice to see that efforts are made to balance the field, I guess sometimes there are limitations in the mod which means that there are large gaps in performance between cars. It can be difficult to compensate for that. It's just a question of playing it well, I suppose. It would be hard to drive on the limit, and get strategy perfect just to keep up, for a whole season. Then again I'm not one to talk - my pace is nowhere near capable of being competitive in these cars!

I imagine what I was running in the Larousse as I was on fairly high wing so 180 mph or 288 kph in quali trim and roughly the same come the race in the draft. Nevermind. Ninja'd by Tiago.

| Wow, even on default set up the Dallara hits 300kph. Should be slightly better on tracks like Phoenix and Monaco, though | |

| The AGS is not underpowered, its just Tiago who isn't very good in straight lines because he can't slide there. | |

| Had 282 at the beginning and 285 at the end (33/33) with the Lotus. What Tiago did with the AGS is crazy. Big respect. | |
