Test race @ Jerez [Dec. 5th]

TEST RACE #1 @ JEREZ

Planning (all times Paris time, CET) :

Wednesday December 5th :

9.15 PM : Race start, 30 laps

This is the first test race before our full F1 1991 championship in 2013.
Cars choice is not free. Please post here to tell us wether you are going to attend to the race, then admins will give you a reduced choice of cars to drive for the race. All we want is to balance the field by giving slower cars to faster drivers, without preventing them from racing at the front of course.
Please also mention if you plan to take part in the full series or if you're joining this race just for fun.
Ceci est la première course de test avant le championnat F1 1991 complet l'an prochain.
Le choix des voitures n'est pas libre. Merci de poster dans ce topic si vous allez participer à la course, les admins vous donneront ensuite un choix restreint de voitures avec lesquelles vous pourrez rouler. Tout ce que nous cherchons est d'équilibrer le plateau en donnant des voitures plus lentes aux pilotes rapides, tout en leur permettant toujours de batailler à l'avant bien sur.
Merci aussi de préciser si vous avez l'intention de disputer le championnat complet ou si vous venez juste pour le fun.

I don't know if I will commit to the full season yet, but this test race could actually be the perfect chance to see how I feel driving these cars. Tell me which cars could I choose and I will do some testing, then if I feel like I can control the car well I will be there for this race, is that OK?

I would like to race the whole season but I cannot race on wednesday, so the question is if the full season take place on sundays or other day. It will be very hard for me to catch this race...maybe on 9:30 but not 9:15

Like Alberto i´ll use this race to try the mod and see if i´ll commit for a full season. I didn´t like the mod at all till i realized what a change increasing caster does. Can´t understand the reason for the base setups, they are beyond abominable and made me think physics were botched.

Depuis le temps que je l'attends celui-là, j'en cherchais un déjà avec format réel avant que HSO n'ait pour projet d'en faire un, mais je n'ai jamais trouvé mon bonheur. Je saute sur l'occasion!!!

Can u tell me wich day for the qualification sessions? Sunday earlier in the evening or another day?

Il y aura à priori deux séances qualifs, la première le jeudi et la seconde le samedi

Je vais essayer cette course, et selon ce que j'arrive à faire, je m'engagerai pour la saison entière, ou en guest (si c'est autorisé), ou pas du tout.

Merci Frank, bonne idée d'en inclure une en semaine, car consacré deux soirs d'un même w-e à la simu, ça risque d'être tendu avec nos femmes, en tout cas pour moi avec la mienne

Petite suggestion: Les pilotes n'étant pas emballé par un engagement pour la saison complète car le mod ne les emballe pas pourraient peut-être se porter disponible comme team manager et se chargerait de la gestion d'équipe en course sur teamspeak, donnez les consignes d'équipe aux pilotes etc... un peu comme nos équipiers font en endurance lorsqu'on fait notre relais.

Ca serait génial mais bon je doute qu'il y ait assez de personnes disponibles et volontaires pour satisfaire toutes les teams

D'ailleurs le format n'est pas encore défini mais à priori le nombre de tours par séance sera limité.

Je n'y vois pas d'inconvénient, mais ça dépendra du niveau des 2 coéquipiers. Si il y en a un plus rapide que l'autre, c'est en fonction de son niveau à lui qu'on attribuera la voiture, donc le plus lent des 2 devra accepter d'avoir une voiture plus lente que celles auxquelles il aurait droit.

Oh, and before car choices are made, i would prefer midpacker or backpacker cars. Yes, i know i know...but it´s hopeless, i just love racing those eyesores and failures too much (i stayed faithful to Merzario for most of the season in the F1 1979 championship afterall ).

I tend to dislike the "better" and specially "the best" car/s, so i will spare those gladly, there will be people that will appreciate them more than i would.

Of course this post could produce a domino effect of primadonna requests. In that case you are free to tell me to shut up and drive whatever thing is thrown at me

I am a little more inclined for older things but is a mod that I like,

not sure about the test because of timing but the season I am almost certain .

Will this championship be run on the Wednesday? I won't be able to make this race, but I will hope to make next year.

Not sure if i can do the 5th as its a busy time for me ...

But i will give a car a run in the New Year
