| Have you tried launching the installer in administrator mod ?
Maybe not enough space on your hard drive for the temp files ? http://historicgt.8.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=969

| Running the installer as admin seems to have done the trick - although the process hasn't finished yet. Fingers crossed. This is the only mod I've ever had trouble installing. Mind you, ever since I had to reinstall Windows my PC has been doing almost everything ass backwards. | |

| Try to unzip the archive in different folder than your previous installation folder of HGT 1.9. And move the files in the right folder after. | |

| Works like a charm, finally Ben, I now remember hearing that you can extract the files manually. I think someone even said it won't check for the GTL disc that way | |

| I think this mod Rocks!!! The cars feel very different from each other, and its very challanging. I´m hooked on the 1.9 version And there's so many cars, that we could do 4 different championships! _________________ | |

| Yeah lots of cars, but not a lot you can use to recreate real series sadly ... | |

Is 2005 too recent for an event? All the cars in the mod that originate from GTL would have been from the Historic Racing Championship of that year

| Without at least painting dozens of extra skins I don't think you can accurately recreate one single championship | |

Is 2005 too recent for an event? All the cars in the mod that originate from GTL would have been from the Historic Racing Championship of that year 2005 is definately too recent, but anyway we don't count historic or revival series as real racing series, as they are already attempts to recreate series from the past. We already organized championships with this mod since we started HSO, but some of them were not accurate (at all). Historical skins are missing yes but despite the huge numbers of car in this mod, the main problem is that cars are missing too. For example we simply can't organize series using great cars like Ford GT40, Porsche 906, Ferrari P330, Maserati Birdcage, Ford Capri 3100RS ... simply because we don't have the cars that raced against them.

| Well the 1.9 does bring a lot of new cars. Of course, as it basicaly is a GT & Touring Car series, sports cars like the GT40, Maserati Birdcages, Ferrari 330P are marginal and we would have a hard time to recreate an interesting championship with those. But the GT and TC carsets are quite full and could be used to do a lot of interesting races and series, with or without additionnal skins. _________________ Thou shalt not train.

| According to the HX forums, they are only going to make changes in the LM72 Pantera, the others are considered as intended. Sorry Ben | |

I hope that will be with more skins! Hey guys you know I love the 1.9 version. As for the skins.. we can do our own. In fact that's what's missing here... _________________

| We had some championships were drivers were allowed to paint their own skin, but it had to be a real livery. | |
