I Have a feeling that a few people maybe trying this mod this weekend ...
I Have a NEW favourite car its not the quickest but its so much fun around Zolder always wanted a Lancia Beta MonteCarlo ....And Now i Have one .....
Very Interesting to check out the Physics of the M1 compared to are M1 Procar .... This Car definatly has a lot more grip but then i would expect that of a Group 5 Machine .... Maybe a little bit too easy but then these cars must Generate a lot more downforce .....
These Cars may have raced at Some Boring Tracks but we just have to do something with this mod especially with the dissapointment of not running the GpC ...
But then i know of a different mod that maybe released in the not too distant future

I was also waiting for this mod for a long time
I need yet to drive more the cars to form a definite opinion, but as Carl says they seem to easy to drive when you think of how they were in real life. Regarding the historic accurancy, many of the liveries are fantasy because there are only 4 car models, and the cars are definitely tweaked to be closer together than they were in real life. The suspension layout I have checked so far seems not correct to the real car, but it more or less works well.
In all, I think they can give some fun and entertaining racing, but IMHO the mod is certainly NOT in the HSO level of realism

How about the car performances. Which of them are almost equal - BMW 320 seems to be weaker than Porsche 935. And Porsche is more powerful than BMW M1.
How about league racing with this mod?

I like the M1 the most so really looking forward for Alberto´s mod, i suppose the car will be more brutal there
Honourable mention to the MBW 320 for epitomizing the traits i hate most: oversteery and loose as hell. hated it in GT Legends, hated it in the 320 mod for Rfactor (only raced once ) and not surprisingly i hate it here.

The effect of aero in traction/brake grip is very overdone in rFactor when compared to cornering grip. If you want the expected aero grip in corners you get in turn a lot more traction and braking that you wanted. It is very difficult to get the correct balance in a mod, unless you start rising the tyre grip much more, but then you start getting other different problems ...
