Don't be too impatient JP 'cause I just took a look at the tracks of those seasons, and some of them are missing for rFactor, so you'll have to built them

Fantastics news!!!
I love american races, and the CART is one of my prefers.Oriol Serviá a very good catalonian driver who hasn´t a chance in F1 (or sponsor),surely at the controls of a good car of F1 would do better than any driver of the current grid.

We said the same thing about Sebastien Bourdais. Well it seems that F1 is a strange world where one of the best driver we have cannot perform as good as he does in the USA (he was not so far his teamate than that but he was nonetheless sacked by his boss). It's a shame he wasn't give a wheel in the french F1 team. Renault prefers to have a spanish and a (not so good) brazillian drivers
Better be the first in CART than nothing in the sh.... world of F1 I think

Please don't say that.... Piquet Jr. is very good, well in GP2 was the only one who threw a fight against Hamilton, I'm not saying Bourdais a not a good driver, he is, but F1 is a very misterious world where the best drivers can suddenly become bad ones

Perhaps but Bourdais did a far better season than Piquet Jr. It would have been normal for the french (well it has really nothing french for his base is in England, his teammanager is italain, his tyres are japanese and had none french pilots )team to give a second chance to our only representants in F1. But it seems Mr Briatore prefers french pilots in GT or elsewhere. Well it's the same guy who said that motoGP drivers were only kids just capable of playing in sandbox and that they must leave the men driving F1. It says a lot about the relevance of the thought of this guy
oups sorry i'm departing from the subject of the thread. I've try to reach racentral. It's seem to be down today

I've try it a little at Laguna Seca. Well the cars are superb. There are powerfull but delicate to drive. It requires a soft driving as the engine has enough power to throw you in spin easily. Braking hardly is also no so easy. Spin arrives quickly if you do a mistake.
A priori it's appear to be a very good mod.
Two weaks points appear to me: -the sound are very poor. We don't have the impression to drive a CART car. The engine lack a bit of power compared, for example, to the sound you can found in GPL -we miss many teams. Where are the Penske, Chip Ganassy, Newman Haas or Green teams for example? It will perhaps be better to have one of those instead of the All American Racers which was one of the worse teams engaged in the season. It's a bit disapointing since we see those teams in the teaser. Well let's hope they will follow very soon.

About the sounds, you know they weren't using those singing V12 or H16 of the 60's you know from GPL. And compared to reality, the sounds of the mod are quite good imo.

I still think the sounds are a bit too high pitch. But it's just a matter of tastes I think. It doesn't take away the pleasure I have to drive those cars indeed.

Yeah I love it too Best CART / Champcar mod in my opinion. Every parts of the mod are great, physics, sounds, modelling. It's a real pleasure to drive around Elkhart Lake, Mid Ohio, Montreal or Long Beach Not too easy, not too hard, just challenging enough.
But even if I love it, I think I'm rather slow

Maybe some of you will be interested, the THOR league ( http://racingleague.co.cc/ ) will run a summer series on this mod, 30min races every Mondays evenings. Tonite, it's Denver, quali starts at 9.30PM GMT+2, i'll be there
