A few notes for this third event.
As announced earlier, this is a late change from the Südschleife originally scheduled, due to issues with the track. Our designated race poster designer Aurélien is very busy these days and did not have time to make a custom one for this last minute change.
This was a 1952 event in real life, the only time the Monaco Grand Prix was held to Sportscar rules instead of Grand Prix rules. The limited number of historic tracks available on rFactor 2 and the fact Monaco is a classic event have combined for this dent in our usual historical accuracy standards.
Prequalifying
With 43 drivers registered for 32 spots available, prequalifying will be a battle for the first time this year.
Keep in mind the rules pertaining to prequalifying, most notably the fact only the fastest time of a driver having posted a time with his two cars will be retained.
Also, the 32 drivers making the cut will be selected based on the particular rules applied to this event : i.e. the the fastest 5 cars of each class (=20 cars) plus the 12 following fastest cars regardless of class.
The hotlap does not exactly display the prequalifying standings in the most clear way, as by default the second fastest time of a driver will also be shown, which can bring a bit of confusion as to what the top 5 of each class is.
It takes a lot of manual editing (i.e. deleting entries in results files) to bring it up to what we want, so be patient, we will try and update it as often as possible.
Darren is working on having an automated system akin to what was used in the HRRC series last year, with spreadshits updated as soon as a session is completed. We will use it when it is ready, but in the meantime manual editing will have to do.
If you have two cars booked with your entry, please also keep in mind that using both cars in the same session will result in only the time you have set with the last car you used retained by rF2 and thus by the hotlap.

Well there is room for 32 and we were 32 at Crystal Palace, so maybe prequalifying won't be so tense, we'll see

I would also like to remind you that as per the regulations :
Quote :
A driver missing three races in a row will lose his entry which would then be made available for someone else to drive.
This means the following drivers will lose their ride if they miss Monaco, having been absent at the first two races of the series :
Otávio de Barros Johnny Gutierrez Claudio Navonne Christian Dauger Jim Carvalho Aurélien Hamart

A bit of HSO history in Monaco. In 2018, Coupe de Prince Rainier 1936 was performed. Without training, I decided to participate in the lights out with Brian Janik's ERA #18, without any pretensions, just to finish the race that was masterfully won by Mick Chapman. At the end of the race, I was awarded 6th place in a race full of retirements, mainly due to accidents and engine breakdowns. Here's the tip for the race that will be long and exhausting.

It seems like there is some yellowish/sephia filter applied when I go on server. Is that correct? If yes, is it possible to turn it off somehow? Thanks
