Seeing Steve Parker’s time on the board tells me where the Ford bribes need to be sent.

There was no such thing as dry or wet weather tyres back then, racing tyres were treaded and "all-weather" until slicks came in the early 1970s .

| Steve did really well to tame the Ford while I spent way too long to figure out the Chaparral doesn't only have the RW "DRS", but also at the front. So instead of 331, I ran 316 on the straights at maximum, apparently worth 3 seconds. Well, major whoops on my side. Thanks to Jim for making me aware of it! Had two tries left, but first crashed while having avoid Mr Navonne into Indianapolis and then crashed alone at the same place As for the fun race, not sure what happened with Steve. We both spun our wheels and as he came sideways, tagged me and I tagged him very slightly. Unlucky, but the race didn't count for anything. It was still very tough and by no means a "cakewalk" since I had to figure out both DRS at race speed in day time conditions. Not to mention there weren't two lights in the cockpit to show they were on or off(only one), so if I forgot one heading into a turn I could've crashed easily. I actually did nearly crash once as I mis-clicked the front one heading into T1 Be thankful you weren't running a Chaparral guys, lot of button-clicking to unleash the straight-line speed At least I could uncover the possibilities in the dry by setting a 3:20.455 I believe. | |

| Ah yes, that's an issue when you have to shift into gear but need to hold the brake aswell.
Good job though Steve, congrats!

| Props to Steve for the setup. Once the track dried it was too dark to see my least favorite place - the Porsche curves. Great setup Steve, thank you. | |

| Great fun. Thanks Frank and Mike for getting this organized. David was very helpful with a setup, but it's clear now how slow I am compared to him. I'm just about as fast when he has a big handicap. Maybe I should stick to crew chief duties. I managed to get away cleanly at the start of the Fun Race, but soon lost touch with P2. So glad the weather cleared for the race. | |

| With resepect, the mod was extremely hard to drive and I have some experience... keep it simple maybe? Racing would be nice rather than focussing on keeping a car on the track. The MAK-Corp Mod on that Le Mans track would have me on there all day. So if we looking for numbers maybe we gotta get more user friendly with some races in the light of the new people looking to sim. While you guys raced those shitboxes around Le Mans, I was doing pickup races on the server. Should not be like that... Just saying. - Frank Verplanken wrote:

this is HSO H is Historical, and old cars like F330 were fast but with chasis from this era not running like on rails, lots of power and old mechanical construction, were like a beast which want kill yoou but many of us are here for these beast - no aero, no electronit, pure power, pure sound , yes they need some experience , but basic is learn how to drive them and then it is more joy than in modern cars
