Rounds 5 & 6 - Mallory Park [Sept 1st]

Was thinking of turning a lap or two on hotlaps list. U know in case if a car gets avaible but it seems i cant get the track  to load  .  I mean it was awhile since i fiddle with AMS but it should be into locations and voila . What im i missing here ?

The folder location is

Automobilista\Gamedata\Locations\Mallory73  inside that folder there should be another Mallory73 folder.

Try deleting the Mallory73 folder and then download the track and the scn update from the first post in this thread.

What error are you getting? that could be useful for solving your problem.

Go to the R1&2 Silverstone Anders and download the commonmaps3 file. Drop that in your location folder. That should help you.

In the mod's 1.01 update, why is there two .SFX files outside the mod's "F3-1973" folder ?

There is a Alpine.sfx and a Ford.sfx in the root of the Vehicles folder... I don't think they will be used as there is no path to these files in the .VEH... there's only the name of the .SFX in there. The executable checks in the same folder as the .VEH file first, then goes up one Parent and so on. It will find the original 1.0 version in the mod's folder first and settle for them.

I just cut&pasted the two files where they should have gone.

I am tentatively confirm my presence, as I have not turned a wheel for over a month. So, I am going to practice every minute I have spare today to assess if I will be a hazard. Ifso, I will free my car at the 11th hour, if everyone else has confirmed.

Does that work out for everyone?

Fine for us Mick, turn up and if you're that off the pace you will be outside of 107%. But I doubt you will be.
