=================================

:conduit:

=================================

Quick reminder of few rules for the race :

- No nicknames on server, everybody race with his real name

- No chat during qualifying session and race. Please respect others drivers on the track, and wait for the end of the session to chat.

- Please be very careful at the start, the race is long, cars very sensitive to contacts. The start's replay will be carefully reviewed and there will be sanctions against wreckless drivers.
Nevertheless, we will take in consideration that newcomers haven't necessarily an experience of such races.

- Set up your car so it doesn't smoke during qualifying and race or you'll incur a sanction. It is higly recommended to set the radiator size at the maximum for the race, cars heat up in huge proportions on the starting grid. Don't play with hrottle when your car is stopped. Dont forget there is a formation lap.

Good race everybody :conduit:

Im not to Hot when it comes to set ups but when coming out of the Hairpin bend
i put my foot down theres a couple of little bumps and keep crashing trying to get the power down ....
Is there a way i can get more progressive power down without spinning the wheels
or crashing and therefore not loosing time ....

Try setting the rear springs and antiroll bar as soft as possible, or lower rear tyres pressures Smile
Maybe the gear you use to exit this turn is too short too.

For me, it helps to lower the DifferentialLock->Power Value (most times I set it to 0%).

I often use this setting, but I do not know why it is more efficient scratch

0 % Rolling Eyes
I think on Guillaume setup which I use regularly this value is set to 30% ?! and it looks the car is stable...at least I belive. I must try once 0% to feel the difference!

For me it seems that lowering the Power value helps me to avoid "oversteer snapping" when accelerating.
It seems to soften the power transfer to the wheels.
But maybe I am wrong.

well I've try it now. I don't see a big difference!
The main problem I have on Mallory is understeer on turn 1 and 2.

Anyway tomorrow I'll have a long journey. 500km by car. I hope to be back on time?! :conduit:

Grrrrrrrr, trop nul !!

Well done Frank you where unstoppable ...

That was Awesome a little dissapointed with 7th as i think i could have
grabbed a point had some good races with people and i felt i had quite a good race set up ....

I Made two stupid errors one i got stuck on the curb on the hairpin bend which cost me a whole lap
two i went wide on the long right hand bend i could have slapped myself cos i new with the retirements
i was in the running for a point

Alain where did u go it was shaping up again mate .....

Towards the end i saw tiago go off i think i must have pressured him to much as i was trying to unlap myself
lol!

Looking forward to next time .... :yaa:

You're right..... I was struggling big time with the car after colliding with Binz and then I saw a car behind me and OMG it's Carl, I must push

:D , then I tried to brake to the hairpin and the car started swerving all over the place and :aie: .
It was a good race overall, I'm happy with 3rd though I think I was able to be 2nd if I didn't make that mistake in the fast right hander. Total carnage at the hairpin in 2nd lap
