| ** Due to a mix up on my part, I'm sorry to say that the BTCC race at Oulton Park will be pushed back a further week to Wednesday the 12th.
This thread will remain open, any one off's taken from regular season drivers will be taken back to allow the regular driver to announce their presence or absence. Everyone will need to announce their presence again.
The thread will be closed for now while we correct entries and will re open tomorrow for people to announce their presence again.
Sorry for any inconvenience. **

| Anyone having issues with FFB. With the BMW specifically. If i go off track or touch the kerbs the FFB just goes nuts and shakes constantly on tarmac, it feels like you are constantly driving offroad. I tried with the Mondeo, but i did not have that issue there. Also the audio seems to be clipping on all cars. You can hear it here https://streamable.com/la6er I have tried to completely uninstall the mod, and install with a fresh download, and yes with all updates. | |

| The clipping sounds I've got a fix laying about which will be inplemented (if it works, thanks Joshua who hopefully sorted that out).
In terms of FFB, I'm not sure. I know that if you flatspot you'll get shaking FFB, I'd assume it may be a bit overtuned for dirt on the tires in the Beemer then. Possibly try fiddling with the FFB settings to see if you can dial it out while maintaining the feel you want elsewhere?

| Hey i did some more testing, the issue actually only appears when i'm on the server. If i race offline i have no clipping and the FFB is fine.
Is there maybe a possibility the server is running a mismatched version of the mod?

Is there maybe a possibility the server is running a mismatched version of the mod? The clipping is a known fault and something we have a possible fix for, just not for this championship as we want to test it before the Autumn series. The FFB I honestly don't know why it would behave like that but it's supposed to be the same version to my knowledge but I'll refer it on to our modding guru's and see if they know more than I do on this particular matter.

| Is it possible i can pick one of the free cars for this race then? I'd prefer that over having to drive with broken FFB, or having to turn it off. | |

It's not broken, when i tried the car earlier in the year it was fine for me. There is a good chance you have maybe flat spotted the tires. What strength is your FFB set too? Mine was at 50%

| I use around 35% strength. Flat spot is a possibility perhaps. I do notice that ABS is turned off on the server. I'll have to try some more and drive slowly and see if it happens. | |

Try lowering the brake pressure to the minimum and then move the bias about so the fronts don't lock as easy.
