Oh okay. Guess I was lucky points were still awarded to GCJ at Hockenheim Don't forget to update this bit in the entry list thread With this, I can also see drivers could now both from teams to race both GC aswell As GCJ in the same race if they chose to do so. @Raul: Did you also delete the files in the series folder? _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" | Maybe re-download and see about that Porsche file. Or just try to override that alone? _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."

| The qualifying schedule has been modified.
Instead of a 2-hour qualifying session on the day of the race, there will be a 2-hour qualifying held in darkness at 20h00 CET (Paris Time) on Thursday and another 2-hour daylight qualifying at 20h00 CET (Paris Time) on Saturday. The best time for each car from either session will be used to determine the grid. Participation in both sessions is not mandatory for your time to be registered. As before only one driver from each car be on track at once.
After the second qualifying, a thread will be opened for teams to announce which driver will start the race for them. Teams not indicating a starting driver will be moved to the back of the grid. _________________

| Due to the fuel consumption relative to other cars, the Lancia LC2 is now open to anyone. The rules have been modified as below: - Richard Coxon wrote:

If a fast driver is paired up with lesser drivers, we may allow them to enter into a Privateer 956 or LC2. _________________ Join the current HSO team as we move to ISO in 2020!http://historicsimracing.123.st/t4220-important-announcement-for-the-2020-season

| Gonna have to pray those DFL powered Rondeau's and C100's lap me a lot. I think ill be employing all the fuel saving techniques... Short shifting, lift and coast, cut ignition over the brow of the main straight and roll the rest of the way, park it and have a cup of tea at Clubhouse Bend every 10 laps. | |

Lift and coast and short shifting was enough for me. I could get 1.22's using 1.49L. It's hard, but do able. _________________

| Yeah I was in that ball park. 1.18s using 1.9ltrs and 1.23s just on the 1.5ltrs mark. Just feels like it's going to be a struggle to pull that off for the whole 1000kms. But that's the challenge I guess | |

| It usually indicates the fuel usage of the previous lap when you cross the S/F line.
So instead of the remaining fuel and expected lap distance(e.g. 97/41), you get -2.6l shown. _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."

- A bit of info for you guys.
The fuel usage in this mod is vastly different to the last time we did this race, this time around you will really have to save fuel as they did in the Group C days.
Some rough numbers for you.
- Group C cars must get below 2.4L per lap to make the race on fuel mileage
- Group C Junior cars must get below 1.5L per to make the race on fuel mileage.
- Lower boost, short shifting and lift and coast techniques will have to be used to help get the fuel mileage down.
- Certain engines are better on fuel than others, but I'll let you guys work that out.
Feel free to ask any questions. I'll bump this since we've had a lot of new entrants. _________________

#12 volk kyalami with the kyalami upgrade (also tried silverstone), both have solid grey "windscreens" all other 956s tested seem fine _________________

| Hmm...
Let me check that right away before applying the fix. I want to know if that bug also happens to me.
EDIT: Yep, also happened here.
Which poses the question: Should we check all works aswell as private cars if that hasn't been done yet?
EDIT2: Nevermind, Jaques is right. #1, #3, #16 and #18 are all good. _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."
