If a fast driver is paired up with lesser drivers, we may allow them to enter into a Privateer 956. - No fast driver can drive a Factory Rothmans Porsche in any circumstances. - Each Group C car must be driven by at least two and at most three drivers. - Solo driving is allowed in the Group C Junior class, as well as team driving. - Drivers are allowed to book cars from separate teams in both the Group C and Group C Junior classes. - A driver cannot book a car alone and then add drivers later. - A car can only be booked for drivers registered on the forum. - A car can only be driven in qualifying by one team member at a time. - Except in cases of a GCJ solo drive, a driver cannot drive more than 150 laps in one car. - Drivers must use the livery indicated in the entry list during the race session. - The race starts in the daytime and ends at night, so headlamps must be mapped. - Group C cars are limited to 600L per 1000km (5 fuel stops). - Group C Junior cars are limited to 330L per 1000km (5 Fuel stops). - Cars must complete 80% of the winner's race distance and still be running to be awarded points. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations. => Drivers swap procedure / Procédure de changement de pilote <=_________________

| A bit of info for you guys. The fuel usage in this mod is vastly different to the last time we did this race, this time around you will really have to save fuel as they did in the Group C days. Some rough numbers for you. - Group C cars must get below 2.4L per lap to make the race on fuel mileage - Group C Junior cars must get below 1.5L per to make the race on fuel mileage. - Lower boost, short shifting and lift and coast techniques will have to be used to help get the fuel mileage down. - Certain engines are better on fuel than others, but I'll let you guys work that out. Feel free to ask any questions. _________________ | |

| I really hope we'll see some fuel saving, anything that isn't gonna be a Porsche or Lancia is probably 4-8s slower I guess. Is the URD now a full-fledged Group C car? Wasn't it a Junior before? Too bad the XJR-5 is basically IMSA GTP only and would look out of place. _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore." | |

| Does the Junior class score points? And what percentage of the race do you have to finish to score points? Just a question if I have to try and solo it. _________________ "The Winner ain't the one with the fastest car, it's the one who refuses to lose." Dale Earnhardt. | |

As said in the other threads, fuel saving is a big thing now in races. Qualifying obviously the Porsche and Lancia will be quicker, but in race trim the gaps are much closer. Get out there and try them. _________________

| It has a thirsty Ferrari engine, that has to be expected, kinda.
I am guessing the URD was adjusted since the Hockenheim race and because of it's performance classified as Goup C car? Or maybe it's previous rating as GCJ car on rF1 was slightly off since it's also recorded as Group C car(while it's successor, the C83, also seemed to have been a C2 car later on)?
Then again, the De Cadenet-Lola was also "wishy-washy", as it went from Gr. C to GCJ in Le Mans in 1983. _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore."

| David, me and Coxon did some researched and we indeed corrected some positioning of some cars in their classes, as well as engines. _________________ Join the current HSO team as we move to ISO in 2020!http://historicsimracing.123.st/t4220-important-announcement-for-the-2020-season | |

| Im facing a strange problem, never occured before. When I enter the track, all around me is just plane grey colour, with some shapes of objects. I noticed when I turn on the lights it is a bit visible, like 50 shades of grey, but far from what it should be. In mirrors though (virtual) all is correct... any ideas? _________________ And Function Function is the key - Fugazi | |

Yes, I did.. I changed nothing from sundays Indy, except new v1.0 mod. I reinstalled it, deleted the vehicle folder as sugested. I havent tryed any other car than 956 though, will do today. Tha sam grey screen is visible while in the main menu and view from cockpit.. My graphical options are all set to full as in previous races. _________________ And Function Function is the key - Fugazi

They score if they finish in the top 5 overall, plus 2 bonus points. Cars must be within 80% of the leader and still running. _________________

I noticed when I turn on the lights it is a bit visible, like 50 shades of grey, but far from what it should be. In mirrors though (virtual) all is correct... I guess this is only from cockpit view right? External views are OK? This happened also while testing and was down to not choosing the proper config/car with the correct skin. What happens is that the windscreen 3D is different in the several versions of the car, so that if you are using the wrong car/skin combo, the windscreen is loading a part of the texture that is solid and not transparent. _________________

Thanks Richard, I tryed both #8 and #18 and yes, I did pick the Kyalami setup... Ill try with other cars later. Dont know what to do if that does not work. Would you suggest reinstalling AMS or maybe just the Kyalami track? Is it even possible to download this original tracks? _________________ And Function Function is the key - Fugazi

| Did you delete the mod and installed it fresh? You have to delete the previous version completely before installing this one. _________________ Join the current HSO team as we move to ISO in 2020!http://historicsimracing.123.st/t4220-important-announcement-for-the-2020-season | |
