Endurance Series mod

After 3 years of work, Enduracers and the Gentlemen Racers are happily releasing the 1st package of the Endurance Series mod for rFactor. It will give you the chance to simulate the best endurance racing experience ever seen in a video game. Cars from ALMS, LMS and the Le Mans 24hrs are scheduled for this mod. Audi vs Peugeot, Aston Martin vs Corvette, Porsche vs Ferrari...

For this important mod EnduRacers has chosen to work in packs. After the initial release including the mod base and first pack of cars, Enduracers will release frequent "Service Packs", adding new car models, sounds, physics and skins. That is why the mod can be classified as "evolutive" and will live and grow continuously after the initial v1.0 release.

Don't forget to read through the readme carefully, you will find a lot of important information in order to use the mod in the best possible way. Don't forget that the mod is very big, and that this is endurance. Don't judge it by doing 2 laps with 1 car, take your time to learn it and really appreciate it.

* - 11 Brand new 3D models from 2006 to 2008 from ALMS and LMS championships, with accurate shapes and aero configurations and high detail cockpits.
- All the cars skins from 2006 to 2008 seasons of ALMS, LMS, Le Mans and FIA GT Championships available in high/low detail.
- Helmet and Driving suits of each Team.
- Pitcrew suits for each Team.
- Several graphic details added for more realism and to feel the "endurance spirit" better.
- Specific UI Data menu textures, using modern showroom by Maciex.
- Realistic sounds for all cars using real onboard & exterior recording sounds samples, and with a completely new development philosophy. Thanks to several real racing teams for their collaboration.
- Very accurate physics, created in collaboration with Gentlemen Racers physics team, with help from real teams and drivers.
- Physics validated with telemetry and real drivers, up to date specific
- 1.250 optimisations (tyres wear curves, pit menu,...).
- Specific real endurance racing physics settings : tyres choices, fuel consumption, aero configurations, traction control use, engine mapping configurations,...
- Driver swap support.
- Realistic pit crew menu configuration.
- FFB upgrades to choose your preferred steering force, see following paragraph to have optimum settings for FFB.
- Real Feel FFB and Leo FFB support (see readme for tested setups).
- Advanced damages.

Known issues:

* - Random bug on led displaying in some cockpit(can be fixed with a reconnect in online mode).
- Random bug with addition of a darker square in some motec cockpit(can be fixed with a reconnect in online mode).

On va voir, mais ça ne serait surement pas Le Mans, une course de 24h c'est pas facile à organiser, surtout avec les problèmes de rFactor pour les longues courses d'endurance

I Would love to do a 24hr race but i dont think my derriere/body could take it LOL !!!

I Was thinking more of a 2Hr Sprint or 4 Hr Race

Perhaps Laguna Seca ,Mid Ohio ,Road Atlanta ,Silverstone or somewhere ...

Eh ben on est gaté question mod en ce moment.
Apres CartFactor vraiment genial (meme si certains bruits m'ont paru etrange) voici celui ci. Ouff ca decoiffe à tout les niveaux. Les LMP1 sont vraiment des monstres. Enfin c'est pas non plus difficile à tenir sur la route. Ca accroche beaucoup et une fois le plis pris du couple sur certaines, ces voitures m'ont semblés plutot dociles que ce soit les GT (encore que la Panoz au freinage c'est chaud) ou les LMP. La difficulté vient en fait de la bonne maitrise de toute cette puissance. Là c'est beaucoup moins simple... comme les Carts.

Pour ma part j'ai fait mes tests sur Portimao. Et c'est plutot chaud dans certains coins. Par contre qu'est ce que ca freine comparés à des voitures plus anciennes Et meme entre une LMP et une GT on sent vraiment la difference dans ces phases là. faut vraiment un sacré temps d'adaptation pour en profiter.

Ca va pas être simple de rouler l'année prochaine entre tout ces excellents mods et une vie sociale en renouveau Va y avoir des choix drastiques à faire et certains arbitrages vont être douloureux (les 79 sont sur la sellette car elles sont vraiment trop difficile à apprehender à mon gout )

Par contre si un open est fait cette année j'espere que l'on ira rouler sur un circuit non encore utilisé. Silverstone ou Monza c'est bien mais c'est chiant car on y roule encore et toujours . Autant aller rouler sur des Terra Incognita utilisés tant par l'ALMS ou la ELMS. Ce sont pas les circuits sympas et peu utilisés ici qui manquent dans ces séries.

can race as where "Historic" does that count

Les caisses de course moderne c'est pas vraimment mon truc,mais la c'est autre chose,je vien de faire quelques tours sur Sebring avec une Aston Martin,j'ai pris mon pied tant au niveaux des graphismes que des physiques Et la j'y retourne

Did a race at monza 32 cars in race online finished in 8th with aston,beat couple of lmp 1 cars as well

Ce mod est vraiment une reussite, je me regale ...
par contre j'apprecie vraiment de faire partie d'une ligue comme HSO...j'ai voulu essayer une course au mans avec plein d'inconnus ...tour de chauffe yavait deja 6 ou 7 voitures au tas... et je me suis fait detruire au premier freinage ...
