No i copied whole Gamedata folder in the archive.
But srange think is when i click ok on this error massage loading normally continue and then i jump into the garage.

I just noticed that I have that racegroove.tga file already in my main tracks folder, so maybe that is why I dont get the error. Don't you have it? It came already with some other HSO tracks, but maybe you did not take part in those events. :hum:

OK. I found this file in Mosport 1971 track folder. When i copy it into the main track folder error doesn't appear anymore. Thanks.

Downloaded the track last night and tested offline. Noticed that the track would stop loading with the bar at about 80%. There seem to be some invisible error messages, tapped enter a couple of times and the track finished loading and opened normally.

When you join the track, you are positioned on the paddock. As soon as you start driving towards the gates that access to pitroad, you are given the message that you exited pits. Will there be no pit speed limit?

There is a file missing, roadgroove.tga well not really missing because it is there but the game can't find it for some weird reason. We will include it in a patch.

There will be a 161 km/h limit, but it is very loose there is some margin.

You need to patch the mod:

The Indy MAS contain a RACEGROOVE.DDS not a RACEGROOVE.TGA.

The game engine will automatically load any DDS with the same name as a TGA, overriding the latter. We added the TGA just in case something to do with file byte size confused the game or the DDS was corrupted (At least for the game). Turns out the reason it is not found, is that all track ambient effects (Smoke, dirt kick-up, race groove, etc) will look for their textures in the main locations folder, not in the track folders. So the TGA or DDS has to go there.

Cheers for info. But that surely can't be right, else there would be a racegroove in the locations folder by default - and there isn't? Otherwise people wouldn't get the missing racegroove problem on just this track?

Well spotted Wink

The texture Racegroove.tga was in rFactor in the file Commonmaps.mas, in the main "locations" folder because it is common to all tracks.

So what happens is that Automobilista no longer uses that texture because the race groove is dynamic (Gets darker) and instead uses the textures "raceline_normal" and others similarly named. Thus Reiza no longer included the texture "Racegroove" in their commonmaps.mas, and indeed if you install any track directly converted from rfactor that has that texture defined in the effects of its terrain file, (Which is 99,9% of them AFAIK) you will get the error of that missing texture. But, most people who have been racing with us here got it already in this or that track we converted and for that reason, even if it wasn't included in our Indy download, they got no errors -as the texture was already there.

Now I know I have to include it in all tracks, or offer it as separate download at least.

Joined the server with new IP and same problem as before,name not showing on timing screen,and session time stuck on 00.00.00

Yes, it seems it's caused by a bug in the AI. We have a new one already and as soon as we can install it in the server and release the patch it will be back online and usable. Likely after the Procar race, which is anyway most people's focus till sunday evening. Meanwhile, just offline practice, sorry :smil20:

Was posted yesterday guys. We know it's not working and are working on a fix.

Id like to trade my time trial start time for an earlyer one if someone is feeling like it. Im scheduled for 22:35, but times arround 20 would fit me better scratch
