version française ci-dessous This series will be run on the Historic GT and Touring cars 1.01 mod for rFactor. It is available here: Historic GT and Touring cars 1.01 mod
This series aims to be as historically realistic as possible, so we'll use the tracks from the 1976 season, and obviously the real point rules.Sporting Regulations1. Cars
31 cars are available. They all run in the same class, I.E Group 4.
Car choice is free. However the administrator can refuse to grant a driver a car that -he thinks- is too fast for him. In this case, the driver will have to choose another car. It is forbidden to change cars as long as you've raced at least one event with one car. The available carfiles are to be seen on the chassis choice topic.
The car roster of the ECGT used to be dominated by Porsche. We have chosen to allow a bigger amount of opponents (I.E BMW and de Tomaso), to make the races more interesting.2. Races
The usual programm of a race week-end will be (all times given being CET) :
8.30pm: 2hrs Qualifying session
8.00pm: Practice Session
8.45pm: Warm Up
9.00pm: Start of the race
-Some races will require pit stops for fuel and tyres, some will not. It's up to you to learn the pit stop procedure so as to be as efficient as possible.
-The Monza race might have a special schedule, as its format is still to be determined.3. Point rules
The point rule is:
1st : 20 pts
2nd : 15 pts
3rd : 12 pts
4th : 10 pts
5th : 8 pts
6th : 6 pts
7th : 5 pts
8th : 4 pts
9th : 3 pts
10th :1 pt
Standings will be made by adding points a driver has earned after each round. All results will be counted.
If two drivers are tied in points, they will be split by the count of their wins, and if they tie again, by their second place finishes, and so on until they get split.Custom liveries :
Custom liveries are allowed. However, those paintschemes have to be close (not necessarily 100% accurate) to actual historic car liveries. Please join a picture of the real car when submitting your carfile.
Please indicate in the availabe cars topic if you will use a personnal livery. Skins must be sent by PM to Guillaume Siebert
before Sunday 30th August
Templates are available => HERE <=Behaviour
-Respecting the opponent on the server is essential. The discipline enforced on the track will be the same during every training sessions as the one enforced during the races.
-Abusive driving or wrecking will be penalized, everyone should follow a self-taught gentleman-rule on track and on the forum. HSO admins won't waste time with unrespectful drivers, those will be banned from the league if they behave in a negative way towards the league or towards other drivers.
Enjoy your ECGT season @ HSO!!
