| SVMs usually go into in Userdata -> your name -> Settings -> your track
If you're running rFactor not as admin, but user on your computer, you'll find that path described above in the My Files -> rFactor folder.

| Be sure it is in the Milwaukee folder inside your profile/settings folder. Also, from the garage in-game when loading the setup select ALL vehicles. | |

| strange...my car is much more stable in race config than in trial config That's the first time this year. I've also had to do two set instead of one. i've try the race set with quali boost and fuel...Not really a good idea SO not at all confident for the qualy (blow many engines there and I'm overly very slow). But I'm much more onfident for the race as I've solved most of the problems of stability I've encountered. | |

| Qualifying = Less fuel, so a lighter car which means it will be more twitchy, plus your tires never get to full temp in 2 laps.
Race = More fuel, so the car is heavier and as a result understeers more, which makes the car feel more stable. Plus your tires will get to the ideal temp.

| Rookie worries I've read through nearly all the posts for 1973 USAC. So hopefully I'm all set for todays race. I've got the time conversion thing worked out. I've been on the practice server a number of times. I understand that I'll be on the track alone for Qually. And to do warmup, 2 laps and return to pit.
Will the practice server be shut down and restarted for Qually? Or will it it switch automatically to Qually mode?
It sounds like I do exit after qually and then rejoin and change from quall setup to race setup.
I'm worried that there's some button pushing that I don't know about. That I'll be waiting for something to happen when its up to me to initiate it.
Pit stops will be anxious . I've got the button push set for "Request pitstop" The "automatic pitlane" thing doesn't seem to work to well. So I won't have it turned on. Slowing down so I don't overshoot my red square will be tough. Is I've been lapped I wait before coming in under yellow.
Can I reverse into my pit stall if I miss it by just a little bit?
Thanks in advance Bob Holada

The server will click over to the qualifying session automatically. - BoB Holada wrote:

Yes. During the warmup, everyone will leave the server, switch from qualy boost to race boost, then come back in. The qualifying order will then be entered manually by the admin (me). - BoB Holada wrote:

Sure, as long as it's only a little bit

| Question on fuel indicator:
I noticed during offline practice that I start with 31 gallons of fuel...I run 10 laps and come into the pits and I get another 31 gallons. The fuel indicator only shows a total of 31 gallons of fuel in the tank...what happened to the balance of the fuel I started with? I should have had 26 gallons in the tank when I pitted. Should I not have 57 gallons after the stop?
Having never raced online before today, I really never paid much attention to fuel strategy.
Mongoose Foyt-Ford Starting fuel=31 gallons=62 laps 1st stop=Tires & 31 gallons=62 laps 2nd stop=Tired & 17 gallons=30 laps
These figures are the result of Testing, both fuel & tire wear on the Mongoose.

| One car was going very slow in the middle of the track and maneuvering to avoid it, spun when back on the gas. Apologizes to Mike whom I took out and anyone affected by the incident. | |
