I Would expect to see a few of these myself ....
In a normal race i would move over and let the faster driver by but as this is an Oval, Not a good idea ....

Would it be better to stay on your normal course and let the faster driver pick and choose when to overtake ...
While i was racing tonight i noticed for the first time the big speed difference you get while slipstreaming your openent
if you slipstream a slower driver and then he moves out the way to let you past then theres a good chance a crash is going to happen .....

Sorry Carl, I somehow had missed your post . I would say the only rule is prudence . But usually yes it is better not change line while you have a car in your draft about to lap you. Best thing to do I think is wait until the faster car has moved out of the draft (presumably to the left of the track) to make its move, and maybe help him a tad by lifting a bit the throttle if it is necessary (for instance as if a corner entry is near ).

Malgré une bronchite tenace, peu de motivation en ce moment et un debut de tendinite je serais finalement là. j'ai pas encore reussi à tenir plus de 25 tours sans me vautrer mais bon. Stratégie à 4 ou 5 arrets en théorie si je tiens les 200 tours

Do we have to attend the briefing
as we have family visiting sorry ,its a last minute thing ,
so wont be able to get there till just before 20:00 .....

We'll only repeat race's instruction you can read in this topic, so if you know them by heart, no prob
But we'd like drivers to join as early as possible to edit the grid

D'artagnan croisait le fer avec virtuosité ...tu risques de ne croiser que le rail (mais c'est du fer quand même)

désolé jean- louis je ne pouvais pas savoir, de plus Manosque ne doit pas être très loin du Castellet d' après mes souvenirs pagnolesques



par mesure de sécurité:
je demande un contrôle d' alcoolémie avant le départ sur la personne de mon frère Franck qui suite à une petite fête locale du samedi soir présente une crise de délirium trémens aigu qui lui fait prendre un mur pour un rail et quand je dis prendre un mur je ne m' avance que de 6heures

Pas question de rater l'édition de l'année de ma naissance !
