MG B GT maybe ?

Not sure I understood that correctly, whether the hillclimb was English or the car was English? It's an MG B, so English car, but road markings look like Switzerland maybe?

My Dad used to have one of them, Drove down in it to Le Mans in 2004, Beautiful car

foot bath came as standard.

I saw the last "batch" of genuine MG's roll out of the factory onto the rail-transporters.

Both cars where to be 4WD but instead of the Ford Zakspeed Turbo engine, they instead opted to use the very successful Manta 400 2.4L 16V Normally Aspirated engine. It it deffinitely from the Targa Florio. It may very well be a Tipo Alfa, I'm not that knowledgable on the older race cars, that being older than the GrA cars of the 1980's
