| Cyclists in motor racing were quite rare indeed, but they did organise a lot of UCI World Championships on motor racing circuits : the Nordschleife, Montjuich, Zolder, and several others too. Up to quite recently too, I remember watching the one Luc Leblanc won in Montjuich. _________________ Thou shalt not train.

| We have already seen here (thxs to Frank) how a WW1 fighter ace turned to race driver and everyone knows the ski champion that liked to race DTM but what surprises me is that the cycling guys dont turn more into motorbikes instead of 4-wheelers BTW Frank your love for racing is limited to 4 wheels or are you also as devoted to bikes? _________________ | |

| I love motorbikes yes, especially its history, and as a matter of fact the only modern racing I now remotely follow is Irish Road Racing . But cycling, no I can't say I'm a fan. Back in the 1990s I followed most every sport I gotta say, hence my seeing Leblanc winning the WC. But cycling I don't really like it tbh - the rigged aspect of it is tiring. Not speaking of the doping thing that is in most every sport anyways, but the fixed races were (are ?) legion and that really sucks. _________________ Thou shalt not train.

| If that Blink mobile isn't allright, then maybe this one will be? I found this and it's aparently from the late 80's at, according to the one who took the picture, Brainerd (which we will be visiting in the Trans-Am's later this year ) and an AMA Race Meeting Edgar Hinton III (sadly no info, that I can find, on him and therefore the bike) _________________ 2019 | 1996 British Touring Car Championship | 2019 | 1995 Super Tourenwagen Cup | If you are scared entering a corner, you are pushing to hard, if you are bored entering a corner, you aren't pushing enough, if you hit it perfectly, it will be better than love | |

| A quick search in my database returned a 44th place at the 1986 Daytona 200 for him, with that same #182 Suz. _________________ Thou shalt not train.

The Tour de France inspired me _________________ What we do Monday to Friday Keeps us up with the Competition ... What we do Saturday and Sunday Keeps us ahead ... | |

| Nice one Carlos I hope we'll be able to do another Tour de France one day... Antoine's 1972 TdF of 2012 was easily one of the coolest things we ever did ! _________________ Thou shalt not train.
