I added a setup on the website for those who are not cumfortable with these cars. It's for the Reynard but it may help for the other chassis aswell. It's certainly not very fast but at least you'll be able to stay on track easily, which is always enjoyable to learn a track What a Face

Hey guys,
I started with this setup and now Ill try to make it a little bit faster if possible, on setup behalf Smile
What you suggest in which direction to go, I longered gears a little bit, couse with boost of 5 it meets the rev limit pretty soon on the straights, and played a little bit with wings/weight distribution, but it didnt get me anywhere for some final conclusion.. Im extremely low knowlege in suspension setups and further more, so any suggestion would do just nice.

Merci

I cant make the qualifying sessions. Due to college and travel. But i am able to start the race. So if i can start at the back, im fine with that, if not, i give my car up.

I am sure Cyril will say "illegal lap" on that lap (as it was for me). Won't be ANYWHERE near that on qual day. Corner marshalls flame throwered entire garage and pit area after the lap Wink

***********

For the qualifying sessions, if someone cut the chicane and has no message from the server for cutting, please slow down a lot to avoid any improvement of your laptime. Of course I will delete any suspect laps, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find your best valid lap, so be careful Wink

You will need to stop completely the restart or your time will improve.

Long story short, do not cut the chicane. In most cases you will get a nasty-gram "lap does not count" message anyway.

I hope this qual session goes well. Haven't been nervous about a session like this in a while. The speed differentials are massive. I think I am relatively safe due to the fact that I tend to end up safely off track when I screw up here. I am going to avoid any and all packs today!

Thankfully, my race setup is super stable and not that much slower than my qual. May get better as the weekend approaches.

You are a pro then. I have one setup for all situations. Something like F-15 Smile Leave no prisoners.

Far from it!! I am a Pro at slow. About 7 months ago I stopped focusing on my qual setup and first always made my race setup first.

Server does not appear to be up now. I suspect Martin is preparing it for the qual session and will launch it shortly. Get the ground crew to pull the wheel chocks from the F15 and start taxiing Smile

Edit: for now you can enjoy the CART 98 guitar solo music :top:
