| I run yesterday night at F1-SR on the mod HGT 1.96. I'm very hurry to swap on this version. I've just tested the Capri but what happiness on the Riverside track. A long time,I wasn't also happy to drive a car. It's sure now, the handling is nearest of version 1.1, not randomless like in 1.95. Happiness, happiness and happiness again. I hope the Pantera has also refound his behavior. | |

| I never noticed a massive difference between 1.95 & 1.96, But then again, I never drove version 1.1
Maybe possible to swap after we have finished the BSCC.

| Has anyone got an idea if fuel is going to be an issue for us Sedan A cars tonight? | |

I'm using 2.6 liters a lap with the Cuda, so I plan to stop once. EDIT: According to Mike, if I am a little more prudent with revs, I may make it without a stop

| Fuel will be close for sedan A but should be manageable. With the rolling start (which will happen with the clock running) you should make it as long as you are not red lining every lap on the straights. | |

| Although it could've been a good fight between the three Alfas I'm not sad that my engine blew, it seems the GTAm was as wrong a choice for this race as can possibly be.
What was going on with the huge gaps on the pace lap?

| Not a bad race for me , even if my only error cost me a place François first rammed me on the warm up lap, then stole my place, it seems he was going to screw me one way or the other Anyway, lonely most of the time because this is a huge track, but looking forward to the next open with these beasts. Probably will get my Cuda back, but the Challenger was fun also. | |

| Now THAT is what I call a race! Somehow I managed to qualify 10th or 11th (I forget ) - best Q pos I've ever had in any league :)It only got better with the start, as I didn't lose any places to begin with Then, somehow I actually kept with everyone and - shock horror gasp - PASSED people! Kept it going for the rest of the race, having a few close calls along the way but I finished 8th - the best finish of my my sim-racing career! If this is what being successful feels like I think I'd like to finish more races so high up. Let's just hope I can keep my Capri for the next open! Great race guys, thanks for the fun. | |

| Thanks for a great event and the company! However, I fucking loser! Again the fear of rival destroyed all my efforts! And finally on the last lap fired engine! I demand as soon as possible to organize the next event, where I want to undergo a rehabilitation course! But until you learn how to cope with anxiety nothing will come of it! Sorry Dave, on escaping of turn I had to be a bit faster! And most importantly, my congratulations to the winners! | |

| WOW that was one great That was one of the best finishes by far ive ever had in sim racing. Me and richard were going back and forth the whole race. Then the last lap came on the back stretch he got a good lead. I ended up getting his draft and we had a drag race too the finish , great driving richard. I think the capri drivers watched to much demo derby before the race as they seemed to be everywhere lol. Overall great race you guys gotta watch that replay, great finish. Sorry mike for you bad luck before the race. Thanks to everyone who showed, and the admins for putting on another fun race | |

| An amazing race, even better finish. The beginning was crazy with the capris all over the place, they were very fast in the infield, their braking points were so late that my rear was being hit all the time by Ben and Carl Eventually ben hit me a bit harder and I lost a few seconds. After some laps I managed to close the gap, Ben and Carl had a big crash exiting T4 of the oval, but Ben was so fast that he caught Austin and I and overtook both of us. After that it was a 2 way battle to the finish against Austin. He spun once in T1 and I waited for him so we could continue our battle, I went out also in T2 a few laps later and he waited for me as well, so it was clear we both wanted to finish the race properly. Last lap, and I clearly saw that Austin wanted to be well behind me entering the oval so he could get my draft as much as he could, that ended up happening, I held it in the inside as much as I could, and exiting the last turn I made it as wide as I could, he lost his momentum, and I could finish in front of him by about 10-15 thousands of a second. Thx to Austin for the great racing, as well as Ben and Carl, and grats to Ben too for the win. | |

| In a first time, I'm sad for Mike. He organised this open, it was a great pleasure for him (and us also) to drive this muscle cars to Daytona. He didn't want to increase the delay, and sacrified himself. Thx Mike, but I think nobody blame you if we relaunched the race in order that you can to join us. Of course for me, it was a great race. Start in 4th pos, the firsts turns were a war of position. The Sedan B didn't want to be blocked behind the A in the infield. So every turns were fighted by us like dogs. Inevitably, I couldn't avoid some bump. Sorry Ricard, for that. I didn't want lost time in the infield, because I lost too much time in the straight line. It was the game of the Sedan B. When we could, Carl and I used the bumpdraft to counter the big americans. And in the lap 13, Carl had some lags and put me in spin. I lost 3-4 seconds and 2-3 pos. After, I could climb up until the first place and keep it. And as a wink (I don't know if this idiom exist in English), Daytona was my first win, IMSA 76 in 2010, and already with the capri 2600RS. So lovely sexy capri. Thx guys for coming, hope you had fun too. | |

| Yeh, I am realy sorry about that François. Yjis is a problem I often experience. How to follow a car that a may outbrake. As usual int his type of incident I am involved in, I had no intention to pass into that corner. I only moved over before the braking zone so I could see the tyremarks coming up.But still badly misjudged our closing speeds...
But just as a side not, and this is in no way to excuse myself, if you had ley me pass, you would have had a draught off me on the fast section, and for the next lap as well, maybe, enabling you to close up quicker on Alberto??

| Well tonight far exceeded my expectations i had only managed a few laps with the Capri before qualifying ... Ben provided me with a killer setup and the Capri was really transformed i felt confident i could maybe get top 8 in qualifying trim but i could see i was a 1 1/2 seconds quicker than Ricard in the infield section going onto the oval but each time his straight line speed was hard to beat i made a good lap and was very surprised to be ahead of Ben and then eventually qualifying 2nd place ... The race again brought me my usual gremlins at the start and i could not get away on the grid for the warm up lap think i need to remap some buttons .. The race itself was just so exciting , an awesome fight with Ricard , Austin , Ben lost count of how many times i overtake them but it was great fun although a little tricky in the infield section as Ricard Said the Capris brakes are so much better lost count of how many times i tapped the big muscle cars but it was all harmless rubbing ... I Even managed to lead quite a few laps but never actually across the line as just when i got close one of the A sedan cars would come flying by and rob me of this privilege Me and Ben eventually managed to open a small gap on Ricard and Austin but then while following Ben my gremlins came back ,Ben became invisible i think a laggy moment and then when he reappeared i hit him from behind and he spun and lost 4 or 5 seconds my car was damaged so i had to pit ,i had to do a whole lap and then my pit stop was 65 seconds ... When i came out i had dropped back down to 18th place my race was over but lucky for me i came out behind Ricard and Austin and Ben so i continued my battle with them and managed to unlap myself ... Such a shame for that one split second moment of lag cost me a shot at a possible race win i would have loved to have carried on the fight to the flag , i think Ben Really deserved the B-Sedan Win and congrats to Ricard and Austin also in the A-sedan battle ... Congrats all Finishers Thanks for organizing Mike and HSO | |

| At first glance it appears that was one heck of a race. Preliminary results posted here but there is an error I am going to need Frank to help me with. Per Ben, I think someone was in a car that did not belong and that has damaged the data file. Really glad you guys enjoyed the race, I wish I could have with you. Oh well, still not sure how the heck I ended up as a spectator. I logged back in and spectator is NOT on. | |
