| Race report for the unofficial quick race can be found here! Thank you to those who participated. Alex had 2nd locked up and Ben had 3rd, both ran out of fuel. I crossed with 1 liter! Austin and Alex were close the whole time.
Austin, Alex (and Ricard) I think all three of you can be competitive in a Mustang or Camaro. Please consider switching. You guys are too fast in the Pontiac.

I think both Ben and I broke traction as the Cudas have a big fat ass and it slides down hill. Alberto caught me but let me by later, Ben likely ended up waving straight at the flag man by the time his slide stopped.

| No problem, i take Chevrolet Camaro Z28 #3 (better to avoid certain teammates in Mustang, they have too much haste for my taste ). Mark, i wait you in Camaro , team is too weak and need reinforcements. Banking make impossible to do a good standing start here, i suggest to begin the race after T2 or last turn before fast part of the track, proceeding one car per row until the starting point. Austin, after be blessed by God of Slipstream, in last lap i remain out of fuel: you go too fast and we have to do a lap more than expected (my 40 liters was not enough). | |

| What? Some people spun at the start? These bigs american cars have really an incomprehensible behavior for an european driver. He missed 1 liter to pass the finish line, like Mark. | |

| Ben decided to kiss the wall goodbye before leaving and got sideways in front of me. I maneuvered to avoid him and slightly touched Mike -who was also sideways already- which sufficed to make him go the full 180º. I didn't feel guilty for Mike being unable to control his car but still because I am a gentleman I waited to give him his position back As a reward for my good action I got in two laps the last place and a full 14 seconds till the next car thanks to the horrible headache I was suffering, total lack of practice before the race and Mike fleeing in pursuit of Ben instead of staying to fight like a man against me Anyway, glad I showed up because otherwise I have no time to practice for the races, so I was happy to see that I got up to a low 2.07, which hopefully should mean that I can aim for 2.06 once I get the car sorted out and enough practice. That should suffice to stay with the Cudas and have some fun. | |

The more accurate summary is Mike running like a mad man to make up for his soon-to-happen off track mistake. And it did happen on the 2nd to last lap. Went way off on the hairpin past pit exit. Was busy watching Alex and Austin duke it out. And back to the Pontiac for me...Cuda is too much of a sled for me! Damn I was slow in race trim.

| Well if you free your Cuda I might do a test and get it back if I like it Anyway a rolling start would be IMHO the proper thing to do, both for historic and practical reasons. As has rightfully been pointed out, banked tracks are not good for standing starts, so give it a thought and see what you decide. | |
