1965 Boxing Day Trophy [December 27th]

HISTORY

The Boxing Day meeting organised every year by the BRSCC on the Club layout of its home Brands Hatch Circuit was a traditionnal event of the British racing calendar. It was most noteworthy for its F3 race, for which the top makes tried their best to align their new model of the following season (often in the hands of a mercenary top driver), in the hope of a good show that would boost the order list for the car.

The late date meant that contrary weather was often a feature, with the meeting more than once cancelled because of snow. Our forecast for this year is nice and clear though, so we'll use this race as a shakedown to our 1965 British Saloon Car Championship. The meeting is restricted to the drivers having booked a car for our 1965 BSCC series.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Friday December 27th (all times given are CET) :

20:00 – Free Practice
20:45 – Qualifying 1
21:00 – Race 1 (20 laps)
21:30 – Qualifying 2
21:45 – Race 2 (20 laps)

Would I be able to pick a spare car for this event? I won't be able to run in any championships until June due to school, so I would love a final race before my break

Five minutes ago, the situation was the same, now I can't find the server by IP. You are doing a reinstall?

OK server relaunched No need to download the track again. You'll probably get a .gdb mismatch still but server will not kick you.

Be careful with that Frank. Last time in BTCC, we had mismatches too, and half the field had a different AIW than the other (with a different grid), meaning it was a big mess with cars misplaced on the grid.

Yeh well 1965 grids were like that sometimes

Thank you Frank, It will be an Abarth but I'll wait for all of the registrations to cycle through before I choose the skin   

 

 

How deep is the sand at the top of the hill? 20 feet? Someone was off their meds when they made those sand traps! Get stuck there and the day is ooooover!

Saw same error earlier this evening. HSO_brands_indy.gdb mismatch.

Just like real life up there, Get loads of cars stuck in there!
