It's much easier to drive comfortably at a good pace while you have to wrestle the Modena to even hit the pace of the midfielders

Malheureusement je suis incapable de l'utiliser... Je suis bien moins rapide avec ton réglage qu'avec le mien... Dommage!

Je suivrai les débats de l'arrière en course... En espérant ne pas connaître de retour-bureau comme à la dernière... J'en ai encore eu plusieurs sur ce circuit aussi... Off et on-line, çà m'inquitète...

Only problem I have with the Modena at Spa is that it wants to understeer but I think I know how to solve that but will only look to try and finish my first ever Historic F1 League race and hopefully battle with at least someone while doing so

So far 2.10 is the best I've managed to do with full tank of fuel so I think I should be able to find more pace at least but I know I'm still far off everyone else  

Is it possible to reset the server to the normal format please? it's still in the 12 lap limit quali

I think it isn't the only car that understeers. Nearly every car of the field tends to understeer on heavy fuel load.

This car is not for me. I don't know what i had problem at every apex of corner. My car wanted to spin at every corners, especially at eau rouge. Later i set suspension high, and soft. But problem continue to occur.

I felt that problem had no reason in differential, nothing more I can say, I do not know what it was.

Lost it at Pouhon  

Comme je m'en doutais j'ai eu un retour-bureau en début de course... en aveugle je freine et arrête la voiture... Je reprends la main, la voiture est dans un bac à sable et sans dommage important... Je reparts, j'ai perdu pas mal de temps dans l'histoire.

Je remonte sur Pat que je ne parviens pas à menacer vraiment, on change les pneus à 1 tour d'intervale mais il est toujours devant quand je reviens en piste... Je fais une première erreur puis une deuxième où je tape le rail, direction faussée, abandon...

Je n'étais pas du tout dans le coup sur ce circuit, mais je me suis amusé une petite trentaine de tours, merci beaucoup Patrick (et les autres).

Désolè Samuli, 

J'ai pas encore vu le replay,mais je pense que j'ai dû rater mon freinage,

du moins surpris !!!

Whew! I was paranoid I'd lose concentration and plow into a wall. This track and I do not get along well. I had 5 spins only one bad enough to hurt the car a little. Most of my passes were vulture passes as I went by the victims of Spa. 2 points!!   



Nice job by the slower cars moving over predictably. Much appreciated.

Superbe course du 1er au dernier tour  
Belle lutte à mi-course pour rester devant Philippe, merci Philippe  
Puis seconde apres seconde je reviens sur Gérard qui a un probleme de direction, moi c'est les pneus, les derniers tours sont terribles car l'on se bat pour le point de la 6eme place  
L'on se double à plusieurs reprises dans les 2 derniers tours et sur la ligne je parviens à conserver 8/10 de seconde

Mon 1er point et le 1er point pour Williams cette saison  
De plus James dans l'autre Williams doit finir à la 8eme place

Honestly did not think I would be driving today..but matters worked out-kids and home were cooperative, and despite many many distractions and converstaions while racing it worked.

I really am not doing this car justice. My first hot lap during warm up was a 2:06.xx..using my Hungaroring setup!! Ay yi yiy....

Patrcik sent me a set-but I had to step out to help the wife in the yard and never had a chance to try it. Better to drive something you know than something you don't...

SOO Many people dropping out-sorry to you alll...

For me I made a foolish error and tried to read my dash information before eau rouge-lost it and my nosecone about lap 11.

After the pits I left and drove the remainder of the race with the wheel canted at 25 dgrees to the left-NOT FUN!

Attrition, attrition attrition gave me 8th..

REALLY happy to see my teammate in the points-excellent Patrick!!


I swear to give this mod MUCH more time in the falll

3ème, pas mécontent, juste un peu déçu car Philippe, que je suis dans les pits, s'arrête dans mon stand !!!  
Je me morfond donc derrière lui en attendant qu'il reparte !
La seconde place s'est sans doute envolée ici.

Me suis quand même bien amusé !

No chance today to get on the podium. I could have gotten past on lap 1, but made a mistake myself and took my time passing Mike and Gerard.

I just didn't feel right today with the car, too scared to push too far, as I had two close moments to lose parts of my car  

Btw: Sorry for lapping you late at Pouhon Gerard, I wasn't sure if you slowed and if you'd chance lines. I was surprised to see you go straight.

Patrick made it quite easy for me, going left and slowing down let me drive past him.


And finally: WD JONATAN! As promised, champagne and applause for you!  

That was an interesting first event. I knew that I wouldn't be up to par with anyone else so was just working on getting a setup that I felt confident with and that I felt would take me to the finish without too much troubles


At the start I was fast off the line but hit the car ahead of me accumulating a little bit of damage to the left front suspension. Not sure who it was but terribly sorry about that  

Was 14th after T1 but then slipped back a bit and then went into conservative fuelsaving mode to try and last the race. After a few laps of this I decided that I would try to turn up the fuel boost a bit and see if I could gain on the cars ahead, in essence keep up with James who had just passed me for 13th place.

This ended on Lap10 I think it was when I hit the curb wrong at the last chicane, managed to save it, but then hit the cerb on the inside of the kink onto the finish straight and it saw me clounse the wall quite hard but at least managed to slow down enough to not loose a wheel which was my biggest worry when loosing it there.

Drove that lap without front spoiler and quite a bit of steering damage and suspension with more and almost went into one or two as I limped round to the pits.

Repaired everything and put on new tires so I knew I would be able to do the last stint without pitting and then went into full conservation mode and just looked to finish and with others having issues I started to climb up the grid.

After a few scary lappings and a lot of swearing due to the understeer I was suffering from after the damage after my off I could finally finish and kept on the same lap as James in the much faster Williams, no matter the damage, was nice for me to achieve  


Thanks for the event and for letting me drive on such a short notice. Finishing in the top 10 was just a bonus and the little bit of battling I could have with James and others were nice as well so happy with the evening   

Now to celebrate my top 10 and finish with a small cup of coffee and then some good sleep, have to get up early tomorrow

Teemu Y U NO USE BRAKES.

For whatever reason, both Samuli's and my own race pace was much better in comparison to our Quali woes, and unexpectedly had hopes of getting in the points after driving in practice and warm-up.

Made a great start up to 8th by T1. Negotiated Eau Rouge fine, but got collected by Teemu at the end of the Kemmel straight, and I lost my front wing and got suspension damage.

Made a stop and got repairs, did a few laps, but the suspension damage remained, and I binned it at Eau Rouge on Lap 4 or something.

circuit que j adore , attaque max , pour la 1 ere fois de la saison mes pneus ont tenu le traitement infligé   victoire   bonne sensation que de pouvoir attaquer comme on le veut .

merci aux lappés   attention ( je me repete ) Gerard a stp des qu on te lappe ne pas freiner sur la trajectoire .

well done all finishers , bravo Patrick pour ton 1er point .
