Whatever you decide to do, I'd STRONGLY advice NVIDIA card(s). I'm on ATI's for the first time and boy I'm disappointed with these.
(crossfire problems, bad fps, etc etc etc) I've an ATI card with 3 monitors (5040x1050), and I haven't problems. I don't think nvidia is better than ati and vice versa. Nvidia was known to be more reactive with the drivers for the new games, but this is less true now. I don't speak about crossfire, I haven't.

| After lots of unscrewing, screwing and testing as well as searching info on the net, it's definitely the Graphics card that has given up I would solve it buying a new one, but the problem is that my PC is already a bit old and with PCI express v1, so i'm not sure if current PCI3 cards will work on it. Regarding the nvidia vs. ati, the one that has just died was an Nvidia and I think many people here remember the troubles fo freeze and reboot I have had in the past with it. It destroyed my last year's HGT series Most online reputable sources recommenda ATI now for the bang for buck, but I'm undecided. If I have to build a new systme I'll probably go with NVidia, but if I find an old card that still fits my current one I won't mind if it has to be an ATI. Thxs for the hints in any case, much appreciated | |

We haven't had 26 qualified cars yet Mario, why so pessimistic?

I believe I had read that PCIe is backward/forward compatible with all versions. Maybe the only issue is that your pcie v1 will be a bottleneck for the graphic card in pcie v3.

| Set much better time just some 15 minutes before qually, so bit disappointed to my result atm. I was some 3 tenths down in my 2nd attempt but touched a kerb and lost it in S3. Looking at the times I except tight racing tomorrow around the 10th position! | |

| Nevermind guys, he needs to complain about his performances on every single post. Even when he's trounced by a guy in the same car, the car is too slow. Maybe someday he'll eventually realize that he's not as quick as he is in his dreams. | |

he is the fastest driver here so roadblock ..... only your opinion mate It's nice we get along so well as teammatesxD I was just a bit decepted with my last try... I was easily on for a 1:19 time(which would mean ahead of Yves, Alessio and Martin) when it fell apart in S2 Shesh guys, don't jump on me. It's just me thinking that IF I have to slot in behind Martin's Larrousse, I could be swallowed by the guys behind on the spot. After all, Alberto(if he starts) and Mike have more power than me. roadblock was probably a bad idea to label the situation. Sorry Martin, but as I said on the server, gotta pass you at the start - William Néron wrote:

2 places left. So people that couldn't qualify can join the race server tomorrow and battle for those 2 places on the grid. The drivers with the 2 fastest warm-up times will be allowed to start in 25th and 26th position @JP: And why are you not racing(except Monaco)? Come and battle with me
