The tire model is completely new, so i guess it won´t be easy. And there are a lot of mods i´m going to miss at first, don´t think everything RFactor will translate to Rfactor 2
This i do expect: tons of fast and cheap converted tracks and mods barely touching any new feature of Rfactor 2, just to get the pat in the back.

I hope a real running weather, with clear/cloudy and its effects on the track grip and a temperature range from 40°F to 100. An also a realistic adjustable wind in the 8 directions. For oval racing it's really too important, as nr2k3 does.

Yep, the first very good historical mod on rF1 was the F1 1979 that was released one year and half after the game was released. I dont expect HSO to run anything on rF2 before 2012 anyway, but you can be sure we'll get 20 crappy 2011 F1 mods quickly.

It won't be much harder than converting a mod from F1Challenge to rFactor, guys... It just should take some time to the modders to fully understand how to take full advantage of the new functions in the game.
Lets hope we get more info about "modding" for rF2 right with the release...

I'm waiting the next HSO Oval Champ.....
And I also hate those tons of bad F1 mods. I prefer not to drive a F1 from 2010/2009/2008...etc if the last well done mod (physics, Textures, sounds, 3D) is from another year older... F1 BMW 2007 with some changes is what we are using on our local league.

Apparemment, il serait possible de se reconnecter même si le serveur est en mode course.

I think CTDP 2006 was only decent F1 mod

Same as Guillaume. Strange that Malmedy to be so flat. It was a bit more steep down if I remember well the Grand Prix movie.

Malmedy est tout de meme moins plat dans le film que dans la vidéo. Dans GPL il y a trop de relief c'est clair. Mais dans rFactor 2 il n'y en a pas assez. Pour le reste c'est clair que c'est très ressemblant
