Car Selection and Driver Seedings

Before anyone can chose his car for the season, all the drivers must be seeded by the admins into the three different classes as per the rules. Once everybody will have been seeded, each driver will be able to select his 2013 ride among the ones available in his designated class.

The deadline to register for the championship is set at 11:59pm CET on December 20th, 2012. Drivers wanting to register after this date can still do so, but their seeding and car selection will be restricted to the remaining free cars, which means that a driver otherwise eligible for Class C might only have a Class A car available.

The following summary of the seedings will be in constant evolution, as where each driver belongs depends on who else is entered in the championship.

Sélection des voitures et répartition des pilotes

Avant que quiconque puisse choisir sa voiture pour l'année, les pilotes doivent être répartis dans les 3 différentes classes par les admins, comme expliqué dans le règlement. Une fois cette répartition terminée, chaque pilote pourra sélectionner sa voiture parmi celles figurant dans la classe à laquelle il a été assigné.

La date limite d'inscription au championnat est fixée à 23:59 heure de Paris le 20 décembre 2012.

Vous trouverez ci-dessous la liste de répartition des pilotes. Cette liste sera bien entendu en constante évolution jusqu'au 20 décembre, la place de chaque pilote dans une classe évoluant au fil des nouvelles inscriptions.

Is the Escort RS Turbo the only car with FWD, right? Can be an advantage at some tracks, but when I once tried it, I didn't like it much.

AE86 "Hachi-Roku" has it's own class? :O

Yes the Escort is the only FWD car of the mod (thanks god ). It's certainly not as fast as the M3 in my hands, but David Cid took it to 3rd in our Targa Florio rally so I guess it can perform in the right hands .

In the real 1988 BTCC there were 4 classes and the Corollas were in Class D. But the Class was only a couple of Golfs so we couldn't do it. The Corolla of the mod is also not exactly the same model as the real one, but it was the closest thing to it to keep it attractive for drivers. Had we taken the slowest Corolla of the mod I fear no one would have wanted to drive it.
