- Please give it your best try because we need to get a precise idea of your level. If we seed you in Class B but come race day you prove to fast for B and are more a Class A driver we will move you up to A. Only you will get what car is left available in A, i.e. most likely a slow one . Therefore it is in your best interest to be seeded in the correct Class right away .
I can already say: Definitely A. Actually we're doomed, this guy just became WTM champion for the 2nd time driving a Supra I could have found an answer as to why the colour in the mod is yellow while it is purple in the picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/16788879@N02/5104912701/ - Quote :

IIRC, the pattern on the paintjob changed a couple of times- there's a pic in Autosport of the Thruxton shunt and the pink spots have been replaced by diamonds- yellow I think Noooo Peter, why! I'll do my best with it, although it's quite dated after at least 7 years where it won the ETCC with Kelleners/Grano in '81. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_British_Touring_Car_Championship_season

| Since Alessio prefers the Demon tweaks car, can I have #32 or #34 please? I hate the number 3, so having it twice in the #33 would not please me | |

| OK so with 40 available cars and the 40 registered drivers all seeded in the three classes, there is little point in waiting any longer before opening the booking. I have already edited the Entry List in the first post with the choices some of you have given. The others can make their choice among the remaining cars. I am willing to give my Sierra and take the Rover if none of the Class A drivers having not given their car choice yet want the Rover .

| As often with Touring Car racing the main reason was to please as many constructors as possible . The first ETCC in 1963 was held along the same rules and had... 9 classes ! This way more or less everybody won something and could advertise it - "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" | |

| Ah okay.
I forgot that the German Endurance Championship, cutely named Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring (VLN) uses the same system, but with different coefficients based on how much competition there is in the class. Often there are more than 220 cars entered for one round, in about 15 classes.

| Yes it's the same in the VLN, which is the offspring of the German DRMFT/DARM/DRP of the 1960s and 1970s. All those multi-class German series, and the BTCC or the ETCC as well, had coefficient of sorts, although usually it was only two : coeff. 1 and coeff. 0.5 if there were less than X starters in a given class. | |
