The RMI Motorsport-Toyota had a very good race throughout the entire 153 laps we managed to complete Smile
The level of competition seeemed perfectly matched, as it looked to me like there was some battles across the entire field for most of the race, I even found people going at my pace when I was driving.

I can only speak for myself, but I will definately be joining more races in the future Smile

Great drive by you guys. Maybe we'll see you again in the 500k.

And I was watching the race in the live tool biting my fingernails till the bones Laughing

But don't worry, we will give you revanche on the Wellington race 1987 BATHURST 1000 [November 4th] - Page 7 195264

i'm lazy about a complete translation to english then:
thank you and congrats to the Norwegian RMI Motorsport-Toyota team for this nice 6 hours long tactical battle with us
Smile

Tu as raison Jieffe.

Well maybe newcomers to HSO could get assigned slower cars until they show their skills and "unlock" others. Even if newcomers are slow, many of the slower drivers choose the lesser cars anyway because we feel more comfortable with them, so it would not change things much.

I like this idea as well... but since im somewhat a newcomer to this forum and races would I qualify for a quicker car or be dealt a slower one even though I have placed in 3rd and top tens in other forum events?

I'd say one or 2 races here are enough to judge someone's level, so yeah you wouldn't be force to drive a dog Smile But we can't really judge others leagues level.

I know I am new but have you considered pre-qualifying events. I think I have seen them here before (but don't quote me on that I have just read over the forums) but it is a really good system for judging an individuals pace without having to force them in to certain car or driving choices.

That said the only way you can judge someones race craft is by having them race.

Oscar.
