Is the car supposed to be right on the edge of losing grip in the high speed turns? I am having a heck of a time with high speed direction changes causing the back end to snap out. Even with maximum front spring and minimum rear and almost no rear swing arm the car is somewhat loose for me. I have started adjusting tire pressures and that has helped. Also adjust differential settings which also helped. But I am still not what I consider "safe" and frequently lose control.
Any suggestions?
Edit: looking at the big spread on hot laps I suspect I am not alone.

Look at this vidéo, Loosing grip at high speed is normal

Yup, that looks like a lot of my laps but that guy has a bad habit of not spinning

Yesterday I was looking at the lap times and crunching the numbers... (hmmmm... 1m36s x 100 laps = 9600s = 160 min = 2h40m!...)
It has been a long time since I entered such a long race... looking forward to start!
Any tips on fuel and tyres?
I think it is a very good opinion Wouldn't it be better to run 50 laps instead of 100? Or even 2 races of 50 laps for those who want to last later ? More than 2 hours will end very late on a Sunday evening...

It seems we will be visiting some relatives on sunday evening, so I probably won't make it to the race. If someone wants my car, please take it as I can't confirm right now that I will be joining the race in time.

Again, we do races as they were back in time, or we don't
It tends to be boring to have to repeat that day after day.
HSO gives you a realistic race distance hemmeroid and damnit you better like it!!
I actually did not know we always are running full race distance. That is actually pretty cool! Umm, please never run a Daytona 500. I will break my nose falling asleep and head bouncing the desk. If you run a Coca Cola 600 my lawyer will be in touch.

I think a Daytona 500 must be very intense and mentaly exhausting
If it ran 500 miles (200 laps) without caution it would be. But the 500 almost aways has a "big one" meaning a massive multi car crash so everyone gets a 15 to 30 minute break while it is cleaned up. Sometimes Juan Pablo Montoya gives everyone a SUPER long break by spinning and hitting the jet dryer which then bursts into flames (because he hit and destroyed the turbine in the jet dryer). I tell you, that man has talent. Not even I have managed to hit the safety crew (yet).
Everyone remember to bind a key for your ignition on/off per the race start rules!!

The most stressing part of the Daytona 500 or even any oval racing is the traffic. In any track it's difficult to keep concentration over a period of time, but doing so when driving bumper to bumper door to door is simply crazy. Those guys are amazing
