At least it isn't as interesting as the Aston. My neighbor had one about the age of these. I have broken wrench turning knuckles to reinforce your Dad's opinion. That car was a piece of $%^+. Sure did look good though. Alban, is that you racing online as gulf83? You will need to change your online name to your full name.

| Ok. Yesterday I was looking at the lap times and crunching the numbers... (hmmmm... 1m36s x 100 laps = 9600s = 160 min = 2h40m!...) It has been a long time since I entered such a long race... looking forward to start! Any tips on fuel and tyres?

| Since my HDD fail I have lost everything, so I will have to download again rFactor, HGT and everything else. I hope that I will be able to do it in time to practice enough for the race, as I am feeling right now very frustrated but I'd like to provisionally reserve a car, a GTO or an Aston Martin, whichever is easier to drive. Since I can't test the car, I let the admin who organizes the race choose it for me, I trust your judgement on it Here is an interesting set of notes from Sir. Stirling Moss about the track: http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/goodwood.html | |

As far as tire wear, I put the nose up against a wall and floored it until the engine blew. The rear tires made it to near 400F and showed no wear. I think I was spinning them for 3 or 4 minutes.

Hmmm is the admin still debating which car to assign me? Make it one of the remaining GTOs, please ...

| Alberto this is what the remaining cars look like (Ferraris only): 9: Primer white - el plain-o blanco! 19: Red with skinny white/blue stripe24: Lite blue, thick white stripe 29: Green with yellow nose 58: Red (now how can you go wrong with a red Ferrari???) 86: Black, white top 106: Red, huge prancing horse on sides. My pick of what is left.108: Red - Argentina flag and "Argentina" on nose 132 Red/White nose.

| OK I'll follow Mike's recommendation then and pick the discreet #106 Because as everybody knows, red cars are faster | |
