I can't believe it, freeze and reboot again  Happened during the warm-up and again during the race, this is ridiculous Evil or Very Mad

I am giving up, my car is free as it doesn't make any sense to continue in this competition after not having finished a single stage :bangry:

bye

One of my better days of racing here, I guess it does not hurt for your car to be one of the fastest makes for the tracks in question.

Race 1 was poorly executed by me. I kept getting "lost" on track due to being extremely tired. Many times when I moved off line to allow speedy drivers to pass or lap me I went off track due to lack of concentration. I am very glad I did not hit anyone on one really bad late braking incident that took me way off the track. I was still happy with my finish as my car was relatively undamaged.

Race 2 was my first HSO race (real race) where I was not lapped! :D cheers :banane: :champ: I really had a great time racing Tiago and early with Gérard (edited - thx Greg) Ryon. Had I mowed the grass one less time I would have had something for Tiago. Still, 9th works for me in a Lemans race that is that quick.

I must give a big thanks to the drivers in the slower class today. Every one of you drove superbly. Simon gets special thanks as I passed him, spun and passed him again twice in one lap and several times later. He was 100% predictable and always moved aside.

I am not used to this "lapping people" thing but am a pro at "being lapped". Thank you to the new guys for keeping your line and driving so well.

Thanks again HSO/Antoine! Bravo.

-Mike

PS: I am dead tired from playing the new version of XCOM - Enemy Unknown to rediculous hours of the morning. I highly recommend it.

Good night of racing for me, although I was a bit hungover and could have been slightly faster... :langue:

At Magny I had a good start but made a mistake on lap 2, Greg followed in perfect team harmony lol! Then I had to fight back but I was lacking a bit of speed, had great fun in the traffic and battling out with Yves, Franck and others :conduit: Great time in the end, but what a bummer for the race that JP had to retire in that stage... Crying or Very sad Leaves me with an actual podium finish hope though Laughing

At Le Mans I was never really in the pace. After a great start as usual from the front of the grid, I had a nice battles with faster cars which I knew were going to overtake me anyway, but I wanted to give them a run for their money :antoine: Vincent which seems a bit out of shape like me tonight ran into the back of me trying to overtake 3 cars at once Shocked No biggie Smile I had then lost contact with the fast group and focused on setting consistent times to the finish while witnessing Lorenzo's amazing speed on my HUD affraid I made a few mistakes here and there too :hihi:

Glad with the outcome of the stage, I can now reasonably aim for 2nd place overall (Franck :antoine:), it will be impossible for anyone to catch up with Greg if he doesn't commit any mistakes... :hum:

Grats to all I just watched the replays and I liked what I saw :top:

1st race

Was a little worried about Magny as it is so narrow in places i had some nice laps early on with
simon made a few mistakes but my biggest worry was being overtaken by quicker cars ,twice a
faster car overtook me on the inside of the bend and i found it virtually impossible to turn in so took to the grass ...
Luckily no harm done ..... I Really struggled with the Alfa here the brakes are so easy to lock up ..

I Have to say Sorry to the Yellow Ferrari who i pulled out on track in front sorry i did not see you coming ...
Well Done to Philipe who was untouchable in the other Alfa ....

2nd Race

Bugatti What a fantastic track i really loved driving it in the Alfa .... For the 1st time i realized that the Alpines are very quick in a straight line .... I Had a great battle with Simon and Ludovic before half distance it was very enjoyable i was trying really hard to keep up but as there fuel load lightened there was no way i could keep up with them on top speed on these long straights ....

My biggest rival Philipe had dropped away in his alfa so i maintained the gap until i had to pit for fuel ,
The most annoying thing i have found with the Alfa is having to refuel 1 or 2 laps before the end of each race
I Literally pitted for fuel and no tyres but Phillipe's pitstop was so much quicker than mine scratch

He Closed to within 5 seconds at the end of the race so a close finish Philipe ....

There may not be many cars in class 2 but it is certanily entertaining ...

Well done Lorenzo and grats all finishers :drink: :champ:
