Driver's briefing - During the warm-up session for each race, you are allowed to make one lap, and one lap only, from pits to pits (no timed lap). - Remember that if you retire at Montlhéry, you won't be able to race at Nivelles ! Be especially careful with the tyres around the chicanes, they could flip your car over and end your stage! - Between both races, you will have to leave and rejoin the server while it is reset by the admins. - In both racing sessions, chatting is, as usual, strictly forbidden. ************* EVENT SCHEDULE (all times CET, Paris time) Mercredi 17 octobre : 8:15 PM - Montlhéry, Warm Up 8:30 PM - Race start, 17 laps 9:15 PM - Race end, pause 9.30 PM - Nivelles, Race start, 30 laps (password : hso72) HSO rFactor servers informations _________________

| Antoine, is race 2 a night race?
And race 1 is Montlhéry long course? I did not see that defined, sorry if I missed it.
Long course - I see it in the main schedule page now, sorry. _________________

| How many deaths have there been on Montlhery in real life? That track has some horribly placed walls and abutments. I would never go there for a track day.
Nivilles on the other hand is superb although looking at the earlier race here I know I will be a tad slow. _________________

| Gerard I went through you both by just a milimeter! That was pure luck, wow ... As for my race, the good news is that my system is stable, the bad ones that I never felt good driving at this track which I don't really like. In the end I made a stupid error that resulted in hitting a barrier sideways. Surprisingly, and despite not breaking the suspension, the engine blew and I had to retire Never mind, my mind was never in racing today, with so much hurry to get everything ready in time and having been so dissapointed last sunday. Let's see if I feel more like racing and concentrated next sunday A big thanks to all slower cars, who did a great job making room, and hats off to David Cid who drives the BMW superbly , as I could see while following him. _________________ | |

| A Night to definatly forget .. 1st Race I just overtake Philippe i think i had better gearing for the long straights and i was on the wrong side of the track when 2 ferrari's spun in front of me hit one of them very Hard .... Wrecked the Front of my car ...Nearly ran out of fuel after just 10 laps , so crawled back to the pits ... Managed to finish but a long way behind ... 2nd race started of Ok had a few nice laps with Ludovic but once again the Alpine showed its strength on the long straights was trying really hard to catch Ludovic trying not to fall too far behind him and messed up a gear change and blew my engine _________________ What we do Monday to Friday Keeps us up with the Competition ... A part ça, je me suis bien amusé. Avec JP à Montlhéry et avec David à Nivelles. A+ pour la prochaine étape. _________________ | |

Highlight reel worthy wreck? I will have to look at that one! I had a great race 1 going but I made a bad downshift approaching the sand trap turn and snap oversteered into the wall. Blew my LF and had to limp back to the pits. I think I would have finished 7th pretty easily. Oh well, my goal was to just survive and maybe not get lapped. 1 out of 2 aint bad. Race 2 was very frustrating as I was missing the same braking point over and over and over and going off track into a slow 90 degree right hand spin. I think perhaps Greg thought I was going to sweep across when reentering once - I saw you man! No way I was going to come over and tap you out. I was somewhere in the top 10 but all the missed braking points took a lot more wear off the tires than I had seen in practice and made my last 2 laps memorable in a cursing and sweating kind of way. On to the next round! Thanks again HSO/Antoine! _________________

| I am a bit sad. Why? Well, I won at Monthlery(First HSO win ). I stupidly went too far towards the end of lap 1, which made me lose ground. But after some laps, I was hounding Yves' mighty Corvette. When he made a mistake and had to pit, I took the lead and never gave it away. Although rfdynhud said my front brakes were both below 0% BUT then came Nivelles. Good battles, 5(!) openly going for it. I was finally getting a bit of free air(Although chasen by Antoine) when I entered T1, touched the inside kerb and went on TWO WHEELS I got it down, but they came up again, so I straightened out, which made me face the barrier(salut mon pote la barriere ), barrel-roll mid-air and land on my wheels(!) again. Sadly, the car was a kicked bucket now and I had to crawl to the pits to fix it. Lost a lap, dropped behind Mike and David. I made it past both(David on the last lap/last chicane!) to finish 7th. BUT: The time I won on my rivals at Monthlery went down the drain at Nivelles, so sad But if I keep 5th, okay... Still trying to pressure Monsieur Placais, n'est-ce pas? He'll have a hard time in the mountains again, but Dimitri will be looking for more action on next wednesday. I'll try to give him tips for St. Ursanne _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore." | |

| OK first of all tks for your cumpliments Alberto. You see on race 1 I crashed due to the change of weight in the car, causing that my rear brakes locked so I went into the Wall, damaging the car quite much... pits 72 secs. So then was just trying to finish wich I did in 14th place I guess. I know it would be better, but thats racing. On race 2 all was going well... I was 7th, then my destroyed tires made me spin in the last chicane, and Jundt passed me So I ended up 8th, not really bad for that BMW I guess. One more great experience with you guys. Tks HSO _________________ | |
