REGISTRATION

The League is open to all.

The league is limited to 30 drivers, i.e. the 30 1980 cars featured in the mod.
Every driver has to register on the HSO forum and race on HSO servers under his real name. Nicknames are not allowed.

Please book your car in the dedicated thread.


RACES

Meeting Schedule

Races will be run according to the 1980 BMW Procar Series schedule and on accurate distances. The regular Procar race lasted around 35 minutes, sometimes less (25 minutes in Monaco), sometimes more (up to 50 minutes).

Race day will be Sunday. The series will start on May 15th and end on December 11th.

Starting grid for the races will be based on the times of the only 60-minutes qualifying session, held just before the start.

Starts will be given standing, after one formation lap. During this formation lap, you are required to stay behind the car preceding you on the grid and to try as much as possible to stay at safety distance from it. You are allowed to warm-up your tires and brakes, as long as it does not make you break the aforementioned warm-up lap rules.

All times are CET (Central European Time) :

8:00pm : Qualifying, 60 minutes, unlimited number of laps.
9:00pm : Warm-up, 10 minutes.
9:10pm : Race start.

Password for the training and race server is hso80.


CHAMPIONSHIP

Points will be distributed on the following scale :

Pos	Points
1st	20
2nd	15
3rd	12
4th	10
5th	8
6th	6
7th	4
8th	3
9th	2
10th	1

Only drivers who have completed at least 90% of a race's distance will be classified and can score points.

All results count at the end of the season.

Hello, I don't want to be too eager but it's 6 days to first race and I would like to finally try these nice cars...

We have had a few last minute Technical problems
so looks like we have to postpone the first race until Sunday June 5th ....

De nouvelles voitures ? le mod est il completement nouveau ou n'est ce qu'une evolution de l'ancien ?

Pour résumer je dirai que c'est une évolution dans le bon sens de l'ancien, les voitures vont moins vite (elles étaient bien trop rapide dans la première version), freinent moins bien, passent moins vite en courbe, mais ça reste toujours aussi sauvage à maitriser

Vous découvrirez ça très bientôt, mais comme dit Carl on a préféré reporter un peu le début du championnat pour être sûr que tout était réglé comme il faut au niveau du mod

Humm, the links at the top are for an earlier version than what was just recently released in public? Will lead to confusion sooner or later, I reckon

La version de Carlo est effectivement la bonne, c'est celle qui est sur le serveur, j'avais zappé de mettre à jour le lien de ce post, toutes mes confuses! Ma perte de connexion chez moi tombe au mauvais moment.
