[rFactor] Prototype-C mod

Well i would look at the tires first, if you also converted those. I am too time constrained now to leave my HSO related projects and others to dedicate myself to such a massive undertake , even though i love those cars, but if your project would become part of some HSO internal project, i could see myself lending a help on that. Altough i admit that if that would happen, i would also redo the GTPC physics too, in order to get them all to the same standard.

The original VLM mod for F1 challenge was a wonderful work at its time and for that game, but for rfactor it falls sorely short. Suspension is the same for all cars, and many values from F1C (inertia, aero) don't apply directly to rfactor, most specially of all the tires (As you already have noticed).

It is no coincidence that doing a proper mod for rfactor took VLM so many years.

Hello Frank! We are always happy to see on our portal modding enthusiasts! I would like to tell you about some of the nuances of the HSO modding. These features will significantly increase the interest in your works and ensure their relevance.
First we need to think about the category of the championship.That is, the conversion or creation of any content must involve the possibility of a full championship. Secondly to strive for the greatest possible historical accuracy.
Intrepid RM-1 is a very interesting racing car. However, at the moment required for create a mod such as IMSA 1991 or 1992 content unfortunately missing . So Intrepid RM-1 in the near future hardly will be used for HSO.
Now I also convert a few models, which want to offer HSO. Thus on the basis of this content will be the possibility of organizing two championships.
Consider that I gave you a little advice, a recommendation.

I admit many there touch a softspot of mine, altough indeed it would be more productive to try to make specific years or championships first.

Really Frank, you have in the collection is very promising specimens, which after some refinement could go on a virtual racing life and on new platforms rF2, AC. But some instances of course frankly outdated.
Based on the quantity and quality of available content for IMSA, it seems most reasonable to focus on the seasons of 1976-1979.
You have to be familiar with this resource. Here are the information about the IMSA cars of the second half of the seventies.

Without a doubt high quality mod IMSA seasons 1976-1979, will find good use on the portal HSO!

I just wanted to mention that I have finally released the 1979 Procar cars I've finished. But I kinda fell out of love with this project last spring, so I don't think I'll do the rest anytime soon.
