I Think somewhere at HSO Headquarters there is a very dark side there is this imaginary room well at least i hope it is .. And Which i have yet to be invited it would seem only the faint hearted have a key to this room on second thoughts i think might just concentrate on fixing my pedals just in case they do release it before my parents get here

Hello Freddy Sorry I could not find the video to prove my facts after a quick search But I believe it was a Nimrod Aston Martin around Sebring. It was pretty obvious that as soon as the driver slightly touched the throttle the rear was getting lose, and the driver could keep the car sliding for a while. Even at high speed, when the downforce should stuck the car to the ground.
Hello Guillaume,
It's with interest I read your comment. It's worth considering that the mod has been constantly evolving since work started on it.. a 'few' years ago
When watching the videos I made and indeed when you try the cars I think you should remember that the Nimrod is not particularly representative of what a Group C car really is. It's something more like a 60's Lola T70 with the addition of a wing. It was very heavy (1000kg+) had no ground effect tunnels, no sophisticated aero, a basic chassis, and simply a slippy shape that allows for a very high top speed.
Having said that, I think one video I may have uploaded a while ago used engine sounds that were a little bit misleading - the engine sounded like it was at very low revs when in fact it was revving highly. I think this gave the impression of a car which was too easy to drift, when in fact it was being driving hard.
Just yesterday I uploaded another video of me driving the car, which you can see on our Facebook page.
Best regards,
Alex

Thanks for the answer Alex It's always to judge physics from a video anyway (well not if it's Gran Turismo of course) so I hope I'm wrong, and I saw your last video, looked good to me Good luck for the end

After a lull, the guys kindly reminded about the ongoing work to identify and eliminate bugs. Also introduced us to the appearance of the menu of this great mod!
Once again I would like to wish a successful completion of this masterpiece! I believe HSO should be grandiose plans and first of all it's high time in Le Mans!

I believe when or if, it is released, I think HSO will get everything they can out of the mod, will probably be the best place to race these cars online when/If it's released.
Imagine a full 1983 WEC season, gives me goosebumps.

Out of interest, and although a bit off topic, what was the difference between the 956 and 962 apart from the positioning of the front wheels and I suppose engine?

It's a shame it's going to be released that late, rFactor 1 will not last very long I'm afraid, or at least its community will decrease a lot in the next few years, and this mod will not be used as much as it should. Then they'll announce they convert it to rF2, but it's going to be released when rF 3 will be out.
