With lots of fun I have been reading this topic.
Specially the help for searching for the last logo's on the Kyalami cars i am working on.

I was wondering where you got the impression of a diftlike mod.
On the video's alex is driving the cars to the limit and yes the they tend to slip then too

We are working hard on the release. Sound problem is almost solved .
some terrible bugs to get out we just found out. but we are at 0.98

It happened sometimes, as a team could have a fuel deal with one make and an oil deal with another . Also sometimes the organisers of a race provided the teams with fuel and had the teams put a sticker of the fuel company which gave the fuel on their cars. It was often the case with overseas Grands Prix as it was complicated, expensive and sometimes forbidden (due to custom laws of a country) to import great quantities of fuel. It was the case for instance in some of the Argentine GP of the 1970s where all the cars had to wear a sticker of the national YPF company which not only provided the fuel for the cars but also organised the event altogether via its corporate sport club.
Another instance where this was possible was in the case of an oil company sponsoring a championship. Shell sponsored the main British F3 series in the early 1970s but to score points and get prize money the drivers had to put a Shell sticker on their cars, even if they did not use Shell products at all

Gathered about the race sponsors and so on, Can remember the BTCC and the British Rally Champ was sponsored by Shell Oils. And I'm sure some of them probably didn't use She'll fuel/Oil.

Reminds me of the funny episode when one well known cigarrettes brand got real angry and took back his sponsorship of a driver when he was caught smoking cigarrettes from a rival brand

Sorry I could not find the video to prove my facts after a quick search   But I believe it was a Nimrod Aston Martin around Sebring. It was pretty obvious that as soon as the driver slightly touched the throttle the rear was getting lose, and the driver could keep the car sliding for a while. Even at high speed, when the downforce should stuck the car to the ground.

By far the mod I am anticipating the most. In all of my life. I am really glad the team is paying such amount of time on getting all the details right. Love it.
