| Hello all, my name is Ricardo, I'm a big enthusiast of classic and historic simracing, and modern GT's as well. I have been competing in some portuguese organized competitions for the last three years, mainly in GT's (@ R4 Simracing). Unfortunately classic simracing competitions don't attract a lot of drivers, so I have been looking for some time now for a place where to race with a complete field. I have noticed that there is currently one car available in the current 1979 F1 World Championship. Would it be possible for me to join this series until the end of the season? Cheers! | |

| Hello Ricardo and welcome at HSO ! Of course it's possible to join the series, but unfortunately for you, we're almost full, in fact there's only one seat available at full time, and that's the very slow Merzario. You have 2 options : choose the Merzario for the whole season (you'll be allowed to switch to a faster car if a full time seat gets available later) or join as a wild card and race after race, hope that some drivers with good cars will be absent. In that case they will announce it on the forum and their cars will be free for any wild card driver. | |

| Obrigado Tiago, estou muito contente pela oportunidade de me juntar a esta comunidade. (Thanks Tiago, I'm really glad for the opportunity of joining this simracing community.) Guillaume, I will try to do the best I can driving the Merzario. I hope to have good fights at the end of the field and not to slow down the front runners. Cheers! | |

| Hi Guillaume, I've installed the Master Series mod and the specific version of Silverstone you use here at HSO, so I guess I have all set for tomorrow! Will the server be open just at the session's schedule, or will it be open before (or after) the start of the session? | |
