The only problem is that I made a new team, not only the skin because of the rims, wanted then to match the real ones

Sorry mate but no new .veh files in this skinpack so you can't change rims
You have to create a folder named "06098Skins" in your car folder (the car you booked) and put your files in it, then ingame when you choose you car you'll be able to choose your own skin

ok no problem, but where do I put the windows file? If I put them in the same folder it generates a new body skin with the windows and I need them because of the black pilars

PS: Well, if I could change the #98 .veh for the rims, that wouldn't be a problem

Put only the main skin in the "06098Skins" folder, then if you named your skin "Tiago.DDS" for example, create a "TiagoMisc" folder and put all the others DDS files in this one. Ingame, you'll only see the Tiagos.DDS skin

And no sorry, no modifications of existing veh files allowed, it would create a mismatch on the server.

You could also create a folder named SKINS in your teams folder and drop the skin over there. Then you can select your skin in the vehicle screen.

Ok, so if I understood this correctly I'll create a "Skins" folder in the "98" folder; I put my skin in the "Skins" folder and create a new Folder called "xxxMisc" and I'll put the windows.dds file in there and it should recognize it if it has the same name as the main DDS, correct?

Yes that's it, but I think the first folder must have the same name as the VEH file, followed by Skins, so "06098Skins" in that case. Maybe its woks with "Skins" too I haven't tried.

@ Gianluca : your skin is almost perfect, could you put the number 720 on it please ? That's the number of the car you booked.

Doesn't work, here's how things look like. The top one is the skin while the 2nd one is the new team I created. If I can't make it load the windows file the pilars will get yellow instead of black

Same remark as for Gianluca, the car number has to be same than the car you booked, so #98 for you.

About windows, send me the files, i'll do it for you

Tiago i think your car as brillant like mine it is depend from file template and SHADOW's level. Your painting is ever under same level's template.

I'm not sure if I understood what you said. My problem is that the pilars of the car (where the windows fit in real cars) are painted separately from the base template, so if I want them to be black I must use the window template.
If you were talking about the layer order that is not an issue because all of those were in the correct order and in the end you must flatten the image or merge all groups to save in .dds

Great stuff Gianluca . Do you only do Porsches or do you also like Healeys and GTAs ? I'm not too happy with my skins...
