| No you don't seeing things. And I've done a 9.36 in Lola too.
Both laps were done with about 100L of fuel.

| I was also surpised when trying the 512S, it's actually quite fast, more agile than the 917 and not too hard to keep on track | |

| My PB is 9:21:9xx so far, maybe the GT40 is not as bad as some might think :raclure: | |

| I'm not sure if Kimmo has seen this post but please add us to the entries. We simply cannot pass up 6 hours at Nords. I will leave the car choice up to him. | |

| Not so sure your statement is true Tiago. With the 512 I could run in 9.26 or less (i've lost 6 seconds on my PB of 9.32 doing quite few mistakes in last sector. And the car was also full tanks). Giving the difference of our level I can tell you the GT40 is really a poor car. For proof, at the same track, with equal cars (911RSR 3.0), you was 20 seconds faster than me in ECGT. With differents cars I'm only 5 seconds behind with the Ferrari and 14 seconds behind with the Lola. That's tell you the GT40 is really a slow car compaired to the others as I should be at least 20 to 25 seconds behind if the GT40 was such a good car. Even worse I've done a 9.38 with the Alfa (Full tanks and very little reworked setup) a far less powerfull car. Definitively the GT40 IS a slow car for the S5000 - Quote :

For an alien may be. For an average guy the 512S is still a challenge to run. I've to be very smooth on reaccelaration with it as the car is quick to spin then. I've the greatest difficulties to pass the power on the track Otherwise that's true it's an amazing car I've just discovered

| This Event is really fantastic , I'd like to participate but personally 1st) I'm afraid to break the car ! 2nd) Would be good to find an Italian who trusts me (for communicating anything else, i'm not a good English man) 3rd) I make an appeal if someone wants, I am available to make same Tests. Salut | |

Tiago thats awesome it will be nice to see a GT40 in the race .... Well I don't really think I'm going to be able to participate because it will be on a Sunday and I can't commit so soon with somebody and then if I'm not able to race that somebody wouldn't have a 2nd driver

| Ludo congragulations on that lap you must be putting some laps in with training im lagging miles behind you now wish i could try your setup as i have driven 4 different cars and there all within 1 second of each car LOL !!!!!
I Just cant seem to go any faster although with the 512 im quickest in the GP section and under the bridge on the Nordscliefe but after that i loose out to my P3000 cars .....

| I'm sure I haven't. Never drive the 512S before and have done no race since 24hL2R. So it's really the GT40 which is slow. If I were that fast I should be in 8.59..not 9.18 As for my sets Carl, I've only got two: one Lola and one Ferrari 512S. I've stop working on other cars. But I'm no sure to be there whatever. My connections problems aren't solved. | |

| Well I admit it now. Done some laps with the Lola and did 9:06 in my first run( It really feels like a truck)... I'll test all the cars and then I'll post my times and reviews of the cars for you guys to compare; since I won't proabably participate in this event I'll just act as as test driver If anyone wants a specific review just gimme a ring | |
