EVENT SCHEDULE

Wednesday March 18th (all times given are CET) :

19:00 – Free Practice
20:00 – Qualifying session (60 minutes, unlimited number of laps)
21:00 – Briefing and Warm-Up
21:15 – Start of the race (50 minutes)

A training server will be running 24/7 (same password).

bummed that I cant make weekday events, looks like a ton of fun good luck everyone!

Anybody else having trouble joining the server? After about 5s the game CTD's. Other servers are fine.

Hmm weird, nobody mentioned anything so far. I'll check the server when I come back from work and see if there is anything suspicious in there .

Server was ok for me,tried it for 15mins

Fixed. For some reason it didn't like the new UI. Crashed several more times but is ok now I have switched to the old UI. Go figure.

I've just noticed it is using my race nick instead of my real name. Works fine offline. Is this just a missed server setting or something amiss at my end?

I'm not surprised regarding the new UI, I should have suspected it was that due to the nature of the mod.

The server setting was set wrong regarding nicknames, fixed now

Sorry for all the questions. Is the server set for green track every practice? Built up some good rubber but it is green again next time I join.

Sadly, the track doesn't offer an advanced rubber preset. So indeed, it's green when the practice session start.
And create a rubber preset takes a little time.

Frank, schools are closed this coming week due to the virus and I doubt I will be going anywhere this week. May I book one of the Sierras? I suspect we will be closed 2 weeks. I can also run during the Summer so will pick the car back up then if allowed.

I'm starting to wonder if I can do this. Was online earlier and after the 4th person entered I was getting massive freezes and FPS drops. My ping may be a tad too high? Your server ping is around 360ms for me. Ours is usually 270-320ms and have no issues with 15+ cars. Perhaps 320ms is about it for me. I'll jump on again tomorrow at same time and test again.

Ohw sorry to hear that Paul . We've had drivers from OZ before, most usually all was fine but that was with our old server, this one is brand new so it could very well be something on our end. We'll see if we can maybe fine tune settings or something before tomorrow's race .

What a dick i am started on dry slicks by accident,then halfway round lap 23 realised i did not have enough fuel to make the pits and was leading the race as well sorry about tap on warm up lap Jan you must have braked hard and i could not stop ue to slick dry tires
