| Just for clarity (as I see some early convo on it, then no follow up)... The first race is 40 laps? And the second 30? This is correct, and not written backwards? Not that it matters, just curious as it was opposite way around in past races. _________________ Proud 2017 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year | |

| Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
also just wanna check after last race with touring cars, that when in qualifying the rules states you can message if its about technical issues? last race a couple of admins seemed a little annoyed with me over trying to stress a technical issues I was having that would have affected my whole race? cant understand how you can muck up some ones times by messaging when they were back for the grid anyway.
my point is if the admins are going to get shirty with folks over their own rules, perhaps then they should be either more clarified or changed to suit everyone more fairly. I come on here to race and have a nice time, not have people be rude to me over things of again I say a double standard of sorts.
thanks and all the best

The reason, I recon, for a couple being frustrated, was that they were on good laps (as is often common in ST's, I had one of them when a badly-timed typing was done at Spa) where they could have improved a few positions on the grid (from what I was told on TS, a few tenths improvement). So again, it was the timing of the typing to resolve the issue that some took offence at, not that you had an issue that you needed help trying to sort out. _________________ 2019 | 1996 British Touring Car Championship | 2019 | 1995 Super Tourenwagen Cup | If you are scared entering a corner, you are pushing to hard, if you are bored entering a corner, you aren't pushing enough, if you hit it perfectly, it will be better than love

| I really had bad luck. I was running 4th in the first round and I saw I didn't have enough fuel. I didn't saw that the first round were 40 laps instead of 30. In the second I got out of the server somehow. 2 times thrown by internet ( 1st was Meadowlands ). _________________ "Be assertive, not aggressive." Ross Bentley | |

Same. That was OK for the Race 1 ,i focused all my energy on not doing mistake and it works pretty well, good quali, last of the «late fiftieser»,the firsts laps been a little messy and the last too but that was a good race,on the lap at the hairpin,i brake a little too late, block the tyre and almost hit Jonathan who avoid me . Bizzarely i was conviced that there was a mark missing on paddock hill ,so i was braking too early, and when i saw them clearly, the next turn, the first one was missing. I try to follow michael and bruno, but our pace was similar and when michael spun and go back behind me,i make a little mistake too. Finnaly i finish 13th,not bad. Race 2 was too much,i was struggling in quali and on the race i was very weak and not so focused and make mistake after mistake,on lap 9 i hit the wall and that was it. See you soon for the STW

| Once again, the results might deceive. I had my hands full trying to match Grant, failing to do so in Q1, where I unluckily ran into(literally, no just figuratively speaking) another car twice on my at the time best split times. Dunno why I got a mismatch for the first try, all was fine during practice and qualifying Only a great start put me ahead in R1, when our battle ended a few laps later after I saw that Grant had the run on me up the hill into Druids and kept the door wide open, but he lost it and spun around I still had "Cesar" not very far off and the gap didn't get too high as either I was slightly losing focus or tried to be very careful lapping cars(two cars ran off simultanously at T1 when I followed them ). Q2 was success and fail at once. Smashed the car around for one lap, then tried too hard, went to tight into T1, went across the corner and into the barrier. Nearly the whole session bar one minute of it lost I was sure one of Grant's two last laps would get me, I saw the split times... I got a bit lucky there. Got another great getaway at the start of R2, but was still hounded by Grant aswell as Cesariusz with Alberto Jr not to far behind(nice driving with the Alpine btw). Something happened and Grant dropped further behind, so it was me against "Cesar", gap once again opened and closed with traffic and pace. We were never too far away from each other during the whole race. I swear, there's a win to come there for him... _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" | In Q1 I just couldn't get my driving head in the right place and it was a real scrappy session. Still 7th grid slot was not too bad. R1 Pushing too hard caused a couple of spins which dropped me down the order a bit to finish 9th. Q2 I found some space on the track and was able to concentrate better putting in a 49.8s lap for 6th on the grid. R2 had a poor start and dropped a couple of places and then ended up trying to get past Steve Parker but I couldn't find a way by, my car lacking straight line speed even when tucked up under the car in fronts rear wing, overtaking was so difficult. A spin whilst trying to pressure Steve and a 6th place finish. Thanks to the organisers and congrats to the podium finishers. Paul Ricard next | |
