| on the rezia forum there isn't much discussion, but on race dept there is a thread where there has been some back and forth on the issue....
https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/ams-final-update-deployed-donington-and-snetterton-available-now.172949/page-4
last post... Yesterday at 22:50 #66 Heitor Facuri Cicoti
I asked that question because I have a G27 (only) and autorotation is working as always. FFB as well. So I was trying to find a pattern. For now we don't have a ready solution, but you can roll back to the previous AMS version (as Crimson said) and race it without those issues.
The culprit for the LEDs issue is already found. A hotfix should come soon.
since i have to alt-tab to get it to work, and pascal was talking about windowed mode, does it have soemthing to do with how ams has "focus"? full screen/windowed modes? i haven't kept up to speed on these graphics/display things in a while, what the different modes/options do/impact. _________________

| Might it be only Win10?
All seems fine here, with W7 and Logi Driving Force GT.

| I use Win 10 with a G27 and I didn't notice anything _________________ Murray: "JUNDT'S OFF-TRACK AGAIN!" Martin: "That's a replay Murray, he's not even in the race anymore." | |

| Not W10 then. It does seem to handle Alt-Tab differently. Keeps the AMS icon in the taskbar (which it never did before for me) and Procars now works with Alt-Tab, when it didn't previously IIRC. | |

| I'm on Win7, G27, and have previously had the game in Windowed Mode and haven't changed those settings and all seems to work ok for me (bar shifter lights on the wheel which I don't use to shift anyway). _________________ 2019 | 1996 British Touring Car Championship | 2019 | 1995 Super Tourenwagen Cup | If you are scared entering a corner, you are pushing to hard, if you are bored entering a corner, you aren't pushing enough, if you hit it perfectly, it will be better than love | |

+1, I'm in windowed mode, all good for me. _________________

The not-working Auto-rotation is something I frequently experienced in rFactor 2, but for me it works just fine. Just the FFB that's screwed up. I'm running on Windows 8.1 though. I'd suggest you take the AMS profile in your Logitech Profiler, delete it, re-create it and remember to check "Allow Game To Change Wheel Settings".

| From RaceDepartment:
For those with Logitech issues, who is running both Logitech Gaming Software Profiler (5.10.127 is the latest working for G27) and Logitech Gaming Software (9.02 is latest)? Seems like this is causing a conflict (get rid of the latter as a test).

| I don't use Logitech profiler at all, maybe another reason I've not had issues.
But as Pascal says, a clash seems likely _________________

Unfortunately that's not my case because I have Logitech Gaming Software Profiler 5.10.127 installed but not Logitech Gaming Software 9.02. So incompatibility between them is not a problem. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 btw. Windowed mode also doesn't solve the problem for me. Hope Reiza gives us a solution sooner or later.

| Automobilista v1.5.26 has been deployed - this is a hotfix to address the main issues reported since the last release.
Fixed a bug that could cause rotation range not being set for older Logitech wheels in some cases; Fixed G27 LEDs not working; Added old method for rotation range adjusting, can be triggered from controller.ini
finally! for me, editing the controller.ini worked (in your user folder)
Logitech range set method AUTO:="0" // 1= let game decide on range setting logic, 0=manual method selection - available only for non G29/G920
Logitech range set method:="3" // 1= method 1 (G29/G920 usually), 2=rest of wheels, 3=old method- not allowed for G29/G920 _________________

| Okay so I got me a G29 just recently - man, the whole fiddling with drivers and Logitech Gaming Software (or G-Hub if you're stupid enough to use that...) sure is a handful!
Now.. I DID adjust those lines in controller.ini and my controller files (since I basically need to re-do every controller profile anyway) so that my ini in AMS looks like this:
Logitech range set method AUTO:="1" // 1= let game decide on range setting logic, 0=manual method selection - available only for non G29/G920 Logitech range set method:="1" // 1= method 1 (G29/G920 usually), 2=rest of wheels, 3=old method- not allowed for G29/G920
Now..my LGS does notice when AMS is running and it does automatically switch to AMS profile (which, if I see it correctly from iRacing and its LGS profile) does allow for the game to adjust all the important bits and pieces. However, all I have is FFB working in AMS now but the auto-rotation doesn't work. Still locked at 900°.
Any clue what I can do? | |
