Any hints for fixing that problem?

Inside Pits everything is completely black, on track everything is fine.
Tried shadows-settings:
- shadows of, everything is fine (looks horrible)
- shadows from low to max = pitch black

Running on AMD Vega VII // latest optional driver // triple screen

This usually happens when I ALT-TAB out of AMS and then get back in. Did you do that as well or did it just happen when you loaded in?

i think it's fixed now thanks to Steam - got all files verified and after that he downloaded some of them and error disappeared.

I only have the option to choose between 6 teams, and they're Audi or BMW. Also when I join the server I get a BMW95.hdv mismatch and booted.

I have 1.0, 1.1, AND 1.21 installed in that order.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot

Patch has screwed the Honda mirrors now.

It's really bad - almost impossible to gauge distance to other cars behind.

Whatever you did to mess up the Honda mirrors, undo it and do likewise for the BMW and - all fixed! :D

Hope you can sort it. Kissy kissy! Please. ;-o

Can you post a screenshot please Michael, also what graphics levels are you running, is it the cockpit mirrors that are affected, the virtual ones or both?

It's strange the Honda mirrors should change, as there was no files in the patch that would affect the mirrors. The only files for the Honda's were skin improvements, and they don't affect the mirrors.

I'll check on my end too and see if there are any differences.

EDIT:
I've tried the Honda online, offline, with full details, with lower details for both car and track and everytime the mirrors are okay for me in both the cockpit ones and the virtual ones as you can see here. If anyone else has issues with any other car bar the BMW the please post and we can have more information to work with.

Oh well, excellent, all sorted.

After much trial and error we have finally found a fix for the BMW mirrors (We believe, it has worked for us)

Just drop this into your AMS install. It shouldn't cause mismatches, so there is no need to download it if you are not driving a BMW.

Hmm, okay, back to the drawing board. Try the method I told you on the server, I'll share it here too.

If you load the BMW and the mirrors are skewed, quit out of the whole game, load the game again, select any car and enter the track. Exit the track and then load the BMW. Usually the mirrors will appear normal then.

Out of interest, has anyone else found it has worked, like I posted it worked for me and other admin members.

I tried that method and it didn't work (on- or offline). Tried different tracks offline too but no go.

It does seem to work if there is a non-BMW in the server before joining with a BMW.

But if a BMW joins before I do and its mirrors are borked, then mine are too (Honda).

Could just leave a non-BMW car in the server? :D

Yes, so it’s back to what I mentioned, it’s loaded the file for a car already, so it uses it again to save time.

You’ve downloaded the BMW fix correct? Does it work if you use it offline or are the first on the server?

Yes, fix is applied.

No, it doesn't work (on- or offline). Only works online if some other car is already in server.

Why did it work for me and David Sabre then offline and online when alone

See why we struggled now, it’s like doing a Rubix cube when you’re blind Razz

We’re going to try something else. Bear with us, hopefully we should have it by Wednesday.

Good luck!

It shouldn't be an issue for the race so long as the first driver in the server is not a BMW?

I did try changing the pace car (a BMW) but that didn't work either. :D

The Nissan 4x4 uses the exact same model and textures as the normal FWD version. I imagine you had the issue because there was a BMW on the server first. See post's above for reason why.

Wilkes' Audi's Livery is all messed up from my POV... It looks like a "camouflage" job when manufactures want to hide the bodyworklines.. It maybe my PC or settings, but dont correct it as it looks great from my POV.
