- The race will be started under a 2x2 grid with an AI controlled pace car. The game will be responsible for all yellows.
- There will be a 100mph pit lane speed limit.
- During the race (Both under Yellow & Green flag) you must be inside of the yellow pit entry line if you intend to pit. You cannot cross through it late and pit in. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in a post race penalty.
- If being lapped, the general rule we are applying is, Leaders go to the left (Inside) cars being lapped go to the right (Outside). The lapping car still has the responsibility to ensure the manoeuvre is a safe one.
- We strongly recommend all drivers to run with all virtual mirrors and spotter activated, to improve their spatial awareness. Also make sure your message center is turned on.Full Course Yellow Procedure (Version française en dessous)
This series will see the appearance of the Full Course Yellow procedure. When Automobilista judges that a situation is risky (a car stopped on the track, a spin on a speedway etc..), it will throw a Yellow Flag. From the time this Yellow Flag is thrown, overtaking is forbidden, but if you have doubt about your position, Automobilista will tell you where you have to be when you will cut the start/finish line. At the same time the pitlane will be
closed, it will be open again for the cars in the lead lap after one full lap behind the Safety Car. For the cars which are a lap or more down, they will have to wait another lap. Automobilista will anyway tell you in the chat all these informations (don't deactivate in-car chat).
When the Safety Car is out, you must keep a normal pace until you reach the the line of cars behind the SC. Otherwise you will get a penalty. Same when you exit the pitlane under yellow, you have to be quick enough to rejoin the SC.
/!\ On oval tracks the leader will have to be careful to not overtake the Safety Car when the latter is exiting the pitlane. /!\
Drivers must be in single file for the restart.
*** VF ***
On restarts, all cars must be
no more than two car lengths apart, and in single file.
Failure to observe this rule during the race may result in a post-race penalty.*** VF ***
Pit Entry and Exit ProceduresDuring the race, cars entering the pits must fade left briefly on the backstretch to signal their intent to pit. This rule will only apply if a car or cars are running immediately behind the pitting car.
Failure to follow this procedure may result in a post-race penalty.During the race (Both under Yellow & Green flag) you must be inside of the yellow pit entry line if you intend to pit. You cannot cross through it late and pit in. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in a post race penalty
During the race, cars exiting the pits must keep
all four wheels under the yellow and white lines until they exit turn two, then they can blend into race traffic.
Failure to follow this procedure may result in a post-race penalty. Behaviour on trackA few behaviour rules :
- As for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is
STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race sessions. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 160km/h max (100mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- If you have a spin on the course, it is
YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you rejoin the race.
- Weaving back and forth in an effort to break the slipstream of a following car is
STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race sessions.
- Respect the red condition at the end of the pitlane.
