What a race you did! 8)

My father and I watched the replay and your fight against Bertrand & the chronometer was really beautiful.

I was very unlucky when you crashed at turn 5A, just before Moss (the hairpin), because I couldn't pass you and I lost a lot of time. But well, surely that didn't change my race so much.

All the GP was very difficult for me because I was ill during all the week and also during the GP.
The two qualy sessions were the worst because I wasn't able to do more than 3 laps without crashing, so it was very hard to prepare the race and also to run it, specially with the Honda. The looser setup that took care of the engine made me really slow at the rear straight, so I couldn't do nothing against Brabham and Ferrari when they tried to overtook me.

It was specially beautiful the fight against Bertrand because he was very careful and clean.
Thanks Bertrand, very gentleman for the benefit of this champ. I hope that you enjoyed as much as me that laps

Yes it is a very hard fought championship ! With two races to go Bertrand (38) leads Gaizka (35) by 3 points. But remember only the 4 best scores of the last 5 races will be retained. Both of you might have to discard a result. Same goes for Tristan who scored in the first 2 races of the second part of the championship. Antoine (28) and even Fred (18) can still claim the crown.

It is not as tight in the Constructor's Cup, with Brabham-Repco leading comfortably in front of Honda. Ferrari, third, is already out of contention. In fact Brabham can clinch the championship at Monza if the best Honda doesn't finish in front of the best Brabham...
