| MOD:The platform used is Reiza's Automobilista with the official packs that provide extra tracks. All of them come with Reiza's Season Pass, so anyone who bought AMS like that has them already. In case of doubt, have a look at the schedule and confirm you have the necessary ones. If you don't, contact the admins per PM.Non original AMS tracks (Donington, Avus, Monaco,Norisring and Zandvoort) will be offered for download at the relevant race thread.For this championship we will use the HSO BMW M1 Procar 1980 mod:--> MOD DOWNLOAD <--
--> MOD PATCH 1.10 <--
CAR SELECTION/ASSIGNMENT:This being a spec series, the car allocation procedure will be simpler than usual:Jan 1 2019 at 20.00 CET: Entry list opens, and anyone interested in racing the series posts there. You do not need to request a specific car, as they will be assigned by the admins, but you can express any personal preference you have for one or more skins available. Jan 5th 2019 at 20.00 CET: Entry list closes. Admins will assign the cars to the chosen drivers on the next day with the first race announcement. Jan 6th 2019: Thread for the first race will go up at 20.00hThe allotment of cars will be based on past commitment to full series and regular attendance, sportsmanship on track or other merits (Help for the league in various forms), but we will also try to give chances to newcomers that want to join our league. Drivers who do not get a car in this series might be favored in getting one in the other main sundays series (CART 1988 and Formula 3) so you can express your preference in that regard. Sharing a car between two drivers is exceptionally possible as a way of ensuring the car is raced at as many events as possible. The drivers are free to arrange among themselves who drives what race. If you want to share a car, indicate the name of both drivers when requesting participation in the series. CAR SWITCHING/OPEN DRIVES:- Switching from one full-time drive to another is not permissible. - If a full time driver declares himself/herself absent for a race or does not confirm his presence 24 hours before official practice/qualy (20.00 sat before the race), their car will be available for said race as an open drive. - Any drive that goes vacant will be offered on the forum for a 24 hours period, during which anyone interested can ask for it. After the period expires, the car will be assigned to the driver with more starts and failing that, to the one who asked first. If it still remains vacant, it will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis.A full-season driver missing a race without any explanation on the forum will have their car freed and made available for someone else. If a full-season driver is absent for two races in a row or three races in total, they will lose their drive, even if they declare their absence each time. Absence from a race must be declared no later than 24 hours before the official practice start, same as presence.EVENTS SCHEDULE:Races will be run according to the 1980 BMW Procar Series schedule and will last around 45-50 minutes, depending on the track and number of laps.Race day will be Sunday.Starting grid for the races will be based on the times of the only 60-minutes qualifying session, held just before the start.Starts will be given standing, after one formation lap. During this formation lap, you are required to stay behind the car preceding you on the grid and to try as much as possible to stay at safety distance from it. You are allowed to warm-up your tires and brakes, as long as it does not make you break the aforementioned warm-up lap rules.All times are CET (Central European Time) :8:00pm : Qualifying, 60 minutes, unlimited number of laps.9:00pm : Warm-up, 10 minutes.9:10pm : Race start.Password for the training and race server is hso80. A training server will be running 24/7 since the race thread is posted (same password).CHAMPIONSHIPPoints will be distributed on the following scale :Pos

Only drivers who have completed at least 90% of a race's distance will be classified and can score points.All results count at the end of the season.BEHAVIOUR ON TRACK- As for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.- Any car that is leaving a smoke trace will be called to the pits to fix it. Failure to comply or to fix it will mean disqualification from the race. - Limping to the pits for repairs on a damaged car is permissible only exercising the utmost caution and ensuring no interference with the other cars that are still racing. - Respect the red condition at the end of the pitlane.APPLICATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE REGULATIONS:Only the admins/moderators are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

| Question to double-drivers (Jonatan and Pascal for example), are they scoring points as a double or everyone for his own? | |

| Without doubt a stupid question, but the Procar engine does NOT have a turbocharger right?
The M88/2 BMW developed for group 5 racing was turbocharged and developed up to 900 bhp. But I think the Procars used the M88/1 which developed around 480 bhp without turbo. Is that correct or am I'm being an ignorant?

| Correct, 470 HP aspirated in Group 4 trim The group 5 version had the turbocharger and a much modified body for 800 HP (1000 in qualy) but since the engine development lagged a lot, some early Group 5 cars had the aspirated engine with the big wide bodywork, f.e. the March M1. | |
