I should not be competitive, at least i does'nt start at the back of the grid!

I definitely want to be there. Something tells me my McLaren should be good at this track  

However, there's one little thing that might prevent me from racing on Sunday - my first child (a son ) is expected to be born on Saturday. If it happens, i'll let you know about my absence.

Pole for our 1971 CanAm race was 1:11.169.

Different track versions

I imagine the CanAm track version was out. I'd be interested to see what the CanAm car would do on this version.

F1 was 2sec quicker in qualifying and we're bang on the money at the moment.

The CanAm Mosport we used had the excessive grip bug. It had 10% more grip than it should. Not that this translates automatically, but if you increase a 10% the laptime that would have left pole at 1 min and 17 seconds. Real life pole was 1.17,300
