Expecting another Lancia vs Porsche fight in Q, but the Fords don't seem to be far off.

In Silverstone, it was optional. I used the 'historically inaccurate' option, which actually had a better balance.

It's optional. As with all upgrades.

5th and 6th behind the Lancias and Porsches is probably the best we can manage without a fancy tubocharged qualifying engine.

I'm getting "Join timed out" when I try to join the server since the end of qually. Any one else have the same problem?

I've reset the server so try again.

People are on it though, so it may be an issue on your end. Try resetting your modem/Router

It's people doing practice races after qualy is complete.  Although I don't disagree with the practice in principle, the unfortunate side effect is that some people get locked out while the session is on.

Alberto was apparently using the Brands Hatch skin on his car, it was weird seeing the #11 here.

Btw: How long does one need to drive a Gr. 5 car to be classified as "having driven it" during the season? A certain percentage of a race completed only or reaching the finish even?

The reason we're asking is because I've got a possible floorball game to play where I may miss the whole race dependent on how it goes but I've said I will help David before I knew this and the game clash so I need to know in case the game draws out itself 

There is no minimum requirement. As long as it is seen you made a genuine attempt to drive the car, and not just book a car but have no intention to drive it, we will accept that.

After all other things could happen such as your first drive crashes out or disconnects, we wouldn't punish the other drivers. We accept too real life gets in the way.

Qualifying and someone starting in the car will satisfy the rule.

We actually shared the same car at the Nordschleife to fullfil the requirement. But before handing over, Jonatan had an accident that needed repairs, but the game denied him that, so I never got to drive it(at least Jonatan was able to finish the race)

Okay well yours is different, since the car finished and neither you or David drove it, you still need to.

If it had retired, we would have accepted why you couldn't have. And that would have been your drive in a grp. 5 car.

How do I stop the Group5 AI spending so long in the pits for refueling? (5-8 minutes) Multiplayer damage is off.

Is that without repairs and tire change?

But it was totally worth it for Jonatan back at the Ring, scored 1 point for 10th and 3 as bonus points.

David doesn't have to drive in Gr. 5 anymore, he single-handedly drove a Lancia at Mugello.

Just tires and a bit of fuel.....Damage was off (Well 0% damage set in Multiplayer damage.

It was only the 935's and Lancia Beta that pitted......All within 5 laps of each other. None of the Group 5 Ferraris, Mazdas and BMW's did the distance on one tank of fuel and one set of tires. And they got well bumped when they were being lapped.

Where as, when I set Multi player damage to 100% there were more pit stops for repairs which kept them in the pits for no more than 2 1/2 minutes,

Can i withdraw my spot on the Porsche? I'll have a soccer game tomorrow (an college championship final, noticed yesterday) in the middle of the race, so i'm unsure if i can run in the gr. 5. I'll do my run on the proto.
